The saving popup, that occurs when powering on, has always been there with ezflash. I have and ezflashIII and ezflashIV, as well as the OmegaDE. They all do it.

Hey everyone,
I‘m currently running into some issues related to my EZFlash Omega.
Can someone verify that this is a problem for not only me?
Please do the following:
1. Start a Game
2. Remove Battery from GBA while Powerswitch is still in ON Position
3. Reinsert Battery

My expectation would have been, that the GBA restarts.

Unfortunately for me it just stays blank until I either turn Off Power and turn in On again or remove the cartridge and reinsert it.

Does it do what you expect if you use a real game cart?

Why would you even do that? What happens when you start a game, switch the gba off, then power on the gba?

I‘m trying to use the Omega with a Consolizer build (GBAHD) - and this makes it necessary to bridge the power switch and cut the power from the battery terminals.

Ok. I see. There was a thread recently about this. Here

Not sure if you came across that already, though. The team stated that they don’t have that particular device to test with.

If that thread doesn’t help, maybe you can message the OP

Since last night when I load a Game Boy tittle this appears to me:

2eqRe69.jpg

and stops there

(I was playing 'Konami GB Collection Vol.1' y SGB mode)

Any help?

Base Omega Update v3.43:
- Fixed the font corruption issue with the firmware updater.

Definitive Edition release v1.00:
- Disabled firmware updater, ROM is too big. Sorry everyone. ;(

"Simple.zip" is for the original ez flash omega cartridge, right? (no definitive edition)

I have this:

UeKYggk.jpg

(I imagine putting it in the root and starting with L pressed to replace it)

1. You SD card is corrupt. Copy everything you can to a temporary folder and format the cartridge. Alternatively you can use tools such as chkdsk or fdisk to repair sectors but be warned, this will often delete the SYSTEM folder.

2. It's the R Button, not the L Button.

Works! Thanks a lot. ^^

Just making sure: for SimpleDE, is v1.00 or v1.00-RC1 the latest version? If RC1 is indeed the latest, as claimed in the initial post in the thread, I can't find a way to download it--only v1.00 seems to be available.

v1.00 is the latest. RC1 means "release candidate 1"

Hello, everyone. The Simple firmware is really very convenient, but I ran into one problem, namely, the compatibility of the EZ-Flash Omega flash card with the Game Boy Color games. I mean pseudo 3d games or games with non-standard graphics. I display them with these artifacts. Basically, this is how the menu is displayed, but artifacts can also be directly in the game.
I've been checking out different games, like Heroes of Might and Magic, Tomb Raider, Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare and they had problems. At the same time, games like Zelda and Mario have no problems with the display. If you know the problem, please write.
