Here's the gist. I can't connect to my wifi on my switch. Obviously, I can on my laptop as I'm typing on this here. OFW is 12.0.1 and atmosphere is 19.3
I tried to reboot into ofw and it won't turn on that. I held the power button for about 20 to 30 seconds and released it. Pressed it to try to turn it on into ofw and nothing.
I can send a payload over to it and without using the jig, it'll boot into cfw.
I don't know if its a goner now or what. I just use vanilla atmosphere and I don't know if I have auto rcm setup or not. Any help would be appreciative guys and gals.

make sure it is on B/G/N/AC , also check the control channel in your router if the switch doesn't see your SSID.

It sees the SSID. It does the connecting first part but when it tries to get the info from it, it craps out with an error that essentially says it can't connect to the server.

power cycle your router, if you still can't get in try changing your control channel on your router to a different one.

Alright I'll try it out I do appreciate the help

Yeah it didn't work. I checked my settings. Everything is good to go on it.

You check the control channel of your router by switching it to another number?

Yeah I tried all of them. Still the same. Was working fine and just decided to check it out today to do some codes and boom nothing will connect.

Edit: Going to try something real quick. My parents live down the street and I had it connected to their wifi. Imma hit you back in a few. Going to go over there and see if it works there.

My dad's does the same so I got to figure it out what is the problem.

Did you use any host features on Atmosphere? Did you overwrite atmosphere files when updating to 19.0.2 or 19.0.3?

I encountered this issue when it sees the ssid but it does not connect ever.

Solution I did was to install atmosphere from scratch. Delete everything on SD card except emummc and copied atmosphere files.

BTW if you can boot CFW without a jig, it's most likely you have autorcm. I'd avoid using that personally.

I was able to figure it out. I went ahead and double checked everything and decided to boot using hekate. I usually just use fusee. Went ahead and checked to see if the auto rcm was on. It was. Turned it off. Got it to boot into ofw finally. Was able to connect. Thanks for the help.

Edit:
Nevermind. It seems in atmosphere, I am having some issues. I can connect in ofw but not cfw. Guessing I'm going to have to figure this out even more so.

In case someone comes across this and has the same issue.

atmosphere/hosts/default

Click on the default file and open it with notepad.
Delete anything that says nintendo.
Boot back up and connect.

Doing that will not block Nintendo servers so if you install NSP's you will most likely be banned

This exact same issue happened to me. Make sure you have the latest sigpatches installed. I forgot to put the sigpatches on my SD and it wouldn't connect to my WIFI. Once i put the sigpatches on everything was working fine!

For people who only want homebrew, cheats, and the like without installing illegal stuff, not blocking Nintendo IPs is not a problem. Although it does not guarantee that the console will not be banned.

Sigpatches has nothing to do with wifi working or not...

I got the same problem (cant connect to wifi in fw12 but i can connect it when using fw11), and Shadow at SP discord gave me ctest file and my wifi can connect again.

check your host file some of the IPs block Nintendo wifi (you cannot connect when you check but you can still connect to Tinfoil for example)
