Hello everyone, here we go again! Think it's safe to say I'll do vol.3 if I can whenever it comes out but for now enjoy vol.2.
They even released the r18 patch before the steam release. looks like I'm not the only eager one. It's also fully uncensored unlike previous steam patches! Turns out the eager beaver on the dev team did an oopsie and uploaded the fully uncensored patch by mistake, if you got the patch at first launch then congrats, you get the full uncensored version (330mb), but now the steam patch is the censored version (313mb).

The use of Simple mod manager is highly recommended due to the nature of this mod, as it allows for easy enabling/disabling (get it here). This mod can be installed manually if you must, but it's structured to work with the manager and latest version of atmosphere.

Before we start, this mod will enable the R18 content in-game and the gallery. No such files will be provided in this tutorial, only a custom config, links will only be provided to the legit steam patch (sfw page so think it's allowed). This game has an adult warning in the base game already so no kids allowed here, shoo.

How to install the patch

Getting ReadyOPTIONAL CG10 FIXAdding FilesActivate & Verify

1. 
   
   1. Download the attached zip, extract to desktop for now
   2. Download Steam Patch (censored scenes) (Free) OR Download Mangagamer Patch (uncensored) (Paid)
   3. Extract 'fts2.pfs.040' to desktop from the steam patch or locate it in the pc install directory of the game

   This fix increases loading times quite a bit as it doubles the size of the mod. However, after using this to unlock CG10, it will always be available to view from the extras menu if you save after viewing this scene in the story. For this reason I have only tested the game enough to see that this fix triggered the CG10 event, it shouldn't cause any problems but if it does, just delete the files after unlocking this scene as recommended. (This is also a lot more steps for just one CG, but it does complete the gallery)
   
   1. Use whatever method you want to extract the romfs nca contents from your switch game backup
   2. Download GARbro (https://github.com/morkt/GARbro)
   3. Use GARbro to open 'root.pfs' from your extracted romfs folder
   4. Enter the 'psw' folder, right click whichever of the 4 folders applies to your language and extract to 'mods\Fantasy Tavern Sextet Vol.2\Restore Mod\contents\01005C10136CA000\romfs\' (skip files if it asks to overwrite)
   5. (uien = English, uija = Japanese, uicn = Simplified Chinese, uitw = Traditional Chinese)
   6. You should now see a 'psw' folder in the romfs directory, with one of the above folders inside of it.
   7. Locate 'fts2.pfs' in the pc install directory
   8. Rename 'fts2.pfs' to 'root.pfs'
   9. Place 'root.pfs' in 'mods\Fantasy Tavern Sextet Vol.2\Restore Mod\contents\01005C10136CA000\romfs\'
3. 
   
   1. Rename patch from 'fts2.pfs.040' to 'root.pfs.040'
   2. Place patch 'root.pfs.040' in 'mods\Fantasy Tavern Sextet Vol.2\Restore Mod\contents\01005C10136CA000\romfs\'
   3. Your romfs folder should look like this

   3. R18 content is now available in story and extra/gallery mode.

And that's it, now you can enjoy the full immersive experience.

Please go buy this version of the game to support the devs, even if you need this mod to enable the extra content, we'll only get future switch releases if they sell. (I'm not preaching to or shaming anyone who does the naughty naughty, I'm just saying. If you only buy one copy, buy the switch one, pretty sure it's cheaper too)

FIXED:

• Fixed the exit button bug on the main menu, it's gone now and doesn't obstruct the 'extra' button.
• If you follow the new instructions, CG10 (Veronica hides the rubber ducky), now activates in the story and will be unlocked in the extras menu after completing the game. This unlock persists in the menu even if you later want to delete the extra files as details in the fix tab above.

I only own NekoPara vol.1 but I'll take a look. I think those games use unity though so even if I got it working it'd probably be way too many steps for most people or require editing files individually, as I wouldn't be able to host or upload any copyrighted files to the site. (which isn't a problem for Qureate games as they already host their R18 patches for free)

I'll take another look when I get time to, but I thought they all activated for me when I tested it myself. It's strange because usually in testing it either worked or didn't rather than partially working, but I'll get back to you if I figure something out, thanks for letting me know.

Upd: Ok so I had another look and for some reason the game isn't detecting the trigger to activate the bath booty call scene. The sequence is there in the patch, and we know the patch is being used because in the bathing scene she has bare nips and not steamy milkies so obvs the cg is being used but that also means the scripts are being used (proven by the other scenes working). Which for the bathing scene "sequence 22" are exactly the same scripts except that the patch version calls for the R18 scene "sequence 23" to play right after if you select the top dialogue option.

I'm still trying to figure out why the game isn't actually picking up on this, I'm worried it might actually be a bug in the game, or a hard coded skip that wasn't fixed until the pc version released (since it's not really a bug if it affects content not included in the base switch game).

Hoping there's something else I can do in the files but it might take a while, and still might be no dice but I'll try.

It should work without Simple Mod Manager too, just dropping the files inside your atmos folder.

EDIT:
With the exception of Prison Princess and Fantasy Tavern Sextet Vol. 3, every Qureate game has a R-18 patch that can be used in the Switch version of each game.
Just scroll to the bottom of the Qurate website and find the game you wanna patch, download the file, rename it and place it in the correct folder. The list with the IDs is available on the Tinfoil database.

nice mod!, I was actually thinking of doing the same but with Sakura Succubus that's upcoming tomorrow and want to try to add the adult.rpa file via LayeredFS method and would like to know if those types of games are supported before attempting it.

Yeah it's really annoying me that it doesn't seem to be unlockable, at least no way I can see how to trigger it. I just hope they don't have anything like that in vol.3 since they obviously don't count as bugs in the original switch release, so the code doesn't actually need to be fixed until pc release. I mean, assuming it definitely can't be triggered, and I'm not just incompetent, then it's likely that the devs didn't even know it was bugged until they started working on the pc version.

I tried importing a pc save that had all cg unlocked to test if it was actually detected at all, but it just crashed the game, probably cos the saves are much larger than the ones on switch.

@DSwizzy I think with games that use .rpa files it depends on how it is implemented, so it's hit or miss I reckon. Only sakura game I have on pc is sakura spirits that I still haven't played but I've heard it's a blue balls game anyway. If I get into the series I might give it a try at some point but hope you can get it working.

Considering it's a Ren'py made game i hope i can easily transfer it without any issue, and if it works, you'd be the first to know.

And speaking of modding 18+ (or in this case All ages to Adult version) games i was thinking of doing more content restorations of adult Sega Saturn games that were ported to Switch like and Desire (maybe Yu-No) HD remasters but i'm certain those won't be simple and might require much more work except for Super Real Mahjong series since they mostly use only .mp4 video codec file format when the company did the ports under Unity (same with Moon: Remix RPG Adventure)

If I extract the patch contents (which I tried several times when first testing) the game doesn't detect the extra r18 files as they don't exist in the switch version and therefore fs_mitm can't find anything to layer them over. But don't extract it, and the game detects the entire pc patch even though it's never in the switch release. I also believe darkest dungeon has its mod loader intact on switch, so it depends on the game code whether it can detect certain extra files or not. Sorry for waffling on, but I just found it interesting when I started playing around with it.

If you're unable to do anything with the sega ports, I guess you could at least use an emulator for them, or if the port itself relies on emulation (like the mario trilogy does) then maybe you could inject or repack it with the adult versions. I have no idea if either of those things are possible, but I'd assume saturn emulation is working and playable on switch.

Ah that's good to hear, thankfully most video converters have no problem with old formats so hopefully they turn out looking okay, especially in portable mode. I know there are AI upscalers for images, I wonder if there are any for video files that you could use. Cos maybe you can do that and then downscale for a better image, or maybe leaving it at exactly double res would let the switch display it properly, but again that depends on the game if it will scale it back down or mess it up.

I mostly just like tinkering with game files, even if it gets me nowhere or completely breaks a game and I have to reinstall, it's just fun for me. I started on the 3DS I think when it comes to handhelds, iirc I put an adult (non lewd) Serena in place of the protag, on sapphire I think. (couldn't share that cos ninty don't like that so much). You can imagine I was over the moon to find out that there were adult mods on the vita, I'd had one for a while and never knew about it at first. I'm just one of those weirdos who enjoys adult content in their games heh. But I also like the idea of restoring content too, since I hate censorship with a passion, I always knew something looked weird about those 'cartoons' I watched on 4kids when I was little.

Yeah i completely understand where your coming from, I so 100% agree with you on the whole movie rant lol i REALLY hate those forced sex scenes that gets thrown in your face when i'm here to watch your stinky film and gotta be bother to add one whereas it doesn't fit in the story at all and it's only there cuz the crew ran out of actual good ideas to filler those in-between scenes and it ends up being sorta cringe and dumb imho.

I love their exclusives but even though some games play better on ps4 than they do on switch, it's not censored, or least censored, on the switch. Like I was trying to mod Omega Labyrinth Life and the switch has some ps4 files in it, I just found it funny how even the logo is missing the Omega over the boobs for the ps4 version haha.

Sadly I can't seem to mod the game properly, I can edit all the files and every other edit works, but the one file I need, the one that contains the actual scenes, that crashes the game on load every single time. Even if I repack it without making any changes, but I can edit and repack the title screen and other files and the game is like "sure no problem". I think the devs maybe put a checksum on that one particular file to prevent naught mods on the switch (that or I'm not as good with unity as I think, who knows).

This won't work. If some file is missed in LFS then fsmitm will just load it from base game.

Hmm, I might take a look at it, rather odd they just have 'disable' files in there, colour me intrigued heh.
