how in the hell is this even possible???

wired ethernet speed test on Atmosphere 0.18.1, no USB 3.0:
0.18.1 no usb 3.jpg

wired ethernet speed test on Atmosphere 0.19.0, USB 3.0:
0.19.0 yes usb 3.jpg

how is that even remotely possible??? 6 ms ping difference is whatever, but it's consistently slightly worse every time...
and the download is consistently around 75%, and the upload 50%

same speeds, ok, whatever, but 50% speeds?!? how does that make any sense???

I don't #*$(ing believe it

Overclocking changed everything

wired ethernet speed test on Atmosphere 0.18.1, full overclocking, no USB 3.0:
OC 0.18.1 no usb 3.jpg

wired ethernet speed test on Atmosphere 0.19.0, full overclocking, USB 3.0:
OC 0.19.0 yes usb 3.jpg

this is absolutely mind-boggling and baffling

both that the stock clock speeds give worse network connection on USB 3, and that overclocking on USB 2.0 practically doubles/halves everything

I mean the 2nd part is kinda understandable, but the first part makes literally no sense

also... 40% of the ping, +20% download/upload speeds on USB 3.0
it's not nothing, but... shouldn't it be much higher than that?

Nintendo switch usb and networking performance is pretty lame, legacy tegra devices do a much better job.

I was wondering, @SciresM if you could please comment on your findings of the reported new Bluetooth changes in 12.0 ?

Like what could it be used for, either from N or from homebrewers ??

TIA

Hello I'm still new to the homebrewing community. Before I updated to 12.0.0 not realizing that atmosphere wouldn't work I had modded pokemon lets go pikachu as well as pokemon sword and also have a modded save file for binding of isaac afterbirth +. If I update to the new atmosphere will I still have access to checkpoint in order to access the save files and will my modded games still work since the modded games are under the contents folder under their appropriate game ids?

Arguments? Code so I can reproduce?
Code:
NcmContentStorage contentStorage;
THROW_IF_FAILED(ncmOpenContentStorage(&contentStorage,NcmStorageId_SdCard));

s32 count = 0;
THROW_IF_FAILED(ncmContentStorageGetContentCount(&contentStorage, &count));

std::vector<NcmContentId> list;
list.resize(count);

THROW_IF_FAILED(ncmContentStorageListContentId(&contentStorage, list.data(), count, &count, 0));

Works OK if disable_ncm in BCT.ini on 0.19.0
