You need to re-inject - however atmosphere has a reboot to atmopshere homebrew app. This app loads reboot_payload.bin in the atmopshere folder, this can be hekate if you rename it

You can also find and install an a homebrew app called "Kosmos Toolbox", it lets you reboot to Hekate main menu without re-injecting a payload.

hej friends, i have a short question. i have sx os with the latest version, and the same original fw. i wanted to ask if i can just update the ofw to play online again or will sx os not work anymore? i dont want to update sx os, only the ofw.
ive been out the loop for a bit and would be thankful for an answer!

If you have an emummc, it isn't affected when you only update the ofw.

yup it just black screen after the nintendo logo.

Ok so I did a eMMC RAW GPP Backup/eMMC BOOT0 and BOOT1 and eMMC SYS (I just basically backed up eveything) was that what you meant by RAW NAND Back up ? if so then im all ears for the next step.

Is it still possible to set a custom avatar? All I can find is an old outdated program and Goldleaf. I've tried the latter, but it doesn't seem to work. It says it successfully changes the picture but its still the same. Its a JPG and 256x256, it should be fine. Is there a more current method?

I'll send you a dm with a few links, but for now also run lockpick_rcm and get your keys then backup the backup (copy backup to a few locations on pc.)

Does that still work? I saw that one but it hasn't been updated in 3 years. One of the posted issues was that it lost functionality quite a few updates back. I could try it, but I didn't want to risk bricking myself with an outdated tool.

I know it definitely doesn't hurt to try. Homebrew applications have never caused a brick (at least if you're using Atmosphere). As long as you have an eMMC backup, you will be fine. Even if you don't have one, making one takes around 10 minutes.

You cannot simply share games with consoles by copying the contents of the SD card otherwise even normal users would simply abuse this. No matter where the game is installed to, a ticket is created and stored within the internal storage. Outside of copying all of these tickets and importing them with a title manager, all of the games have to be reinstalled on the other console.
