Hello,

I understand that the (CFW) sysMMC, (CFW) emuMMC, and (Stock) sysMMC all have different filesystems and thus, different games, spread across them.

My question is how would I go about moving (or copying) a game from the stock sysMMC to the emuMMC? For example, I grabbed Super Mario 3D All-Stars and it's installed on my stock sysMMC filesystem, but it does not show up on my emuMMC. I understand I could probably upgrade the Switch firmware on my emuMMC, connect to the store, and redownload the game to the emuMMC - but I feel like there's probably a better way of doing things. Does anyone have any insight on this?

FW: 11.0.1
CFW: Atmosphere
BL: Hekate

Boot into the emuMMC and install it there.
If you got save games on the sysMMC, just use checkpoint to export the save game and import it back when you're running the emuMMC.

I'd like to try and not connect to the eShop when in emuMMC. Any other alternatives?

If you go online with sysMMC but not with emuMMC and you purchased the game from the eshop then why would you want to move it to emuMMC? It makes sense to use your sysMMC for your "official" games and emuMMC offline for other games.
If you want to move the game without going online with emuMMC you should be able to dump it from sysMMC with NXDumpTool and then install it in emuMMC with Tinfoil or another installer.

I am currently running into the same issue. I can't find a tinfoil shop with the game. (An Airport for Aliens Currently Run by Dogs) and I own a copy on sysMMC. I want to keep it clean, and I want to know if I can dump to an nsp.

Can't you just run "CFW - sysmmc", then run say DBI in applet mode, and dump the NSP? Then simply launch your emummc and install it there using a title installer of your choice.

There are dump of it out there.

You can safely run basic homebrew on sysMMC without issue. Just never install any NSPs, manipulate save files in online games, etc. What I do is I boot sysMMC, use NXDumpTool to rip games, reboot to EmuMMC, Install using DBI.

I've been doing this for years without issue.
