Hardware Nintendo switch joycons and fan problem

Hello, I'm working on a switch that works fine apart from the fan doesn't spin and the joycon's don't charge. The joycon's get recognised and pair with the switch however they don't charge when attached to the switch. The joycons also work unattached from the side of the switch.

When I plug the charger into the switch while looking at the controller screen on the switch the charge icon flashes up for a split second underneath the controller and then disappears.the switch is running the latest Nintendo update

do the joy-cons charge if you remove the fan? I had one unit where the fan had malfunctioned and was shorting the 5V rail that the joy-con use to charge. removing the fan allowed them to charge again, and there were no further issues after replacing the broken fan.

I removed the fan and the joycons started charging normally, and I ordered a new fan replacement. Thanks a lot for the help

@pyorin This is super unrelated but I could use some help with this (I don't know why I wasn't given the option to PM you). I saw your post of alternate solder points for M0 trinkets (Im using RCM x86) and I couldnt solder the 3.3v properly so i decided to use the alternate nand points. Is this correct or was i supposed to join the two points together with the wire (extend the wire to the pad to the left aswell).
