Hey! I'm just curious what exploit host everybody is using for 7.02? I recently saw Al Azifs exploit host was updated to support 7.02, so I'm curious if I should go with that one? Or is there an exploit host that's a bit more stable? Maybe one that uses HEN with rest mode working?

Thanks in advance for the advice!

Hakkuraifu does extremely well for me. I noticed it updated with more plugins including Mira. I use app2usb frequently with it many times over. Only had 1 KP from a failed JB so far its definitely rare to get that.

That is the reason why we do not need a Restmode.
hakkuraifu 7.02 is very stable.

Good to know but I don't liked the appearance, thought. leeful's appearance looks so much better and more professional but too bad that leeful's version isn't 7.02 just yet. That's why I trust leeful version of 6.72. He knows what he is doing. I am watching him for 7.02 release one day. :)

majority of the exploits linked above are based on sleirsgoevy work. some of them are just minor edited exploits to trigger another payload which can be easily done if you convert the ps4payload-repo to a JS using bin2js

the only host that different from all is dmiller423's host, which doesnt use mira as payload loader which sleigs is using. and dmiller's host actually had a semi working rest mode, at least with his host rest mode either works perfectly or only works once or twice. it had its own way to get kex working and load the HEN 2.1.3 without mira. this is why you dont see the waiting for payload notification with this host, it directly says HEN 2.1.3 on notification.

@JimMayer I am not disputing what your experience has been but what @remlei said is also 100% correct.
hakkuraifu and sleirsgoevy use the exact same exploit files to exploit the system. The only difference is the initial menu page.

It was the same with 6.72, one particular menu can work brilliantly for some people but not for others.
The best advice for anyone is, if you find a menu host that works well for you, stick with it.:)

Regarding HEN and rest mode on 702. In my experience I have found that it works perfectly but only once.
You can resume from rest mode the first time and everthing is fine but if you go into rest mode again it will crash.

it's unfortunate that no system, including the switch, has something like the wii u does with the vc. if you exit to menu while playing a vc game, it automatically creates a save state of that point. it doesn't work if you just turn off the system though. however, it will remain permanently if you do it correctly. I think vc uses three saves, that one, the regular save, and a save state you create yourself.

I was on 6.72 and it was nice.
Now I m on 7.02 and it s a nightmare.
5 min to launch the HEN and rest mode is broken.
:(
I tried nightkind and hakkuraifu hosts

Its a nightmare if you dont have patience. The biggest pro about 7.02 is kernal panics rarely happen trying to do an exploit.
On 6.72 I would have to hold my breath and pray it doesn't fail even when im using leeful's v8 which is the best one for my Uncharted ps4. 7.02 is still new so you cant expect everything to be on par with 5.05/6.72. If it took you 5mins+ to run the exploit you need to clear your cookies/cache.

you 7.02 people should be happy that it can now be exploited
for one its FREE
why does it matter if it takes 1 sec or 1 min to run the jb its no big deal your be playing for hours anyway
you should always let your ps4 boot for a couple of mins anyway that makes the biggest difference in getting any exploit to load does'nt
matter if 5.05-6.72 or 7.02 in my experience just my two cent's

I understand your posts but it’s not what I observe with my experiences.
I let my ps4 fat idle some minutes, i clear cache and cookies.
I have to launch multiples times the host to have success. Sometimes when I succeed i have another error : Failed to setup a relative read primitive
If not, when I launch a game, it plays one minute and my ps4 suddenly shutdowns...
:(
And finally rest mode is broken.
My feeling is that I did a mistake by updating from 6.72 to 6.02.
When I updated from 5.05 to 6.72, I had no pbs.
Just a feedback from my experience. Peace and thanks for your comments.

7.02 is still relatively new. I'd wait perhaps a few months. I don't even play my ps4 (it's on 5.05). instead, I play the wii u, minis, or switch consoles. I like learning about the system, but I'm sorta afraid that it will shutdown right in the middle of gameplay like 7.02 did to you. I read a post by @Leeful . he said he usually opens a game, then closes it after running the exploit (not sure which firmware). if it works, it never crashes later on.

I think you replied to the wrong person. I for one have no complaints against 7.02 i truly believe its better than 6.72.
@shaora Sounds like you didn't do enough research and just jumped to 7.02 for new games. Honestly tho you didn't even have to update to 7.02 b/c majority of the games still work on 6.72 we just needed 7.02 to dump its games. And yes we have to spam the exploit every time we get the memory error message till it works, but thats better than getting random kernel panics then having to restart the ps4 or rebuild the database every failed attempt. You have to treat it as a trade off until 7.02 gets better in the future.

Tbh dude I've got a slim so called v2 model the one that came with the v2 controller on 6.72 using leeful's jb code from ps-phive and its pretty much rock solid haven't had one single KP yet I've also got me friends pro on 7.02 that I made a 7.02 menu for and tbh mate I wouldn't swap 7.02 needs lots more development

It wasn't an option for me to swap I didn't just update my pro to 7.02. My pro has been sitting on 7.02 since April 2020. I have a 2nd ps4 that used to be on 5.05, but dealing with backports is extremely tedious and not reliable so I updated to 6.72. Thing is every host works differently on any ps4 model. Leeful's is still stable by far even if I get KP's. I just have more success with his v8 than the new ones that includes random crashing after a successful hen.
