ISPs nowadays restrict/censor too much of the web so back in 2018 I bought a lifetime account of Windscribe for about $37 and I'm very pleased after two years. If I had to use a free VPN, I'd go with Proton VPN, to be honest.

Speaking of Proton, their lifetime accounts for ProtonMail are quite valuable.

Not in the USA ISP's don't restrict content here

I personally use Windscibe because of how cheap and flexible it is.
It really is. Their "Build a Plan" pack is pretty impressive for what you get, plus for like $2 more you get Unlimited Data + R.O.B.E.R.T.

Love the Adblocker on Windscribe. Android apps have no ads and feel like they're the full version.

Surfshark, got a really good deal on it plus it's very fast and reliable. I let my friends use it. I made back what I bought it for.

but they will snitch on you to the fbi if they don't like the pages you visit. (TPB, other piracy sites, Also some isp go as far to end your services if you watch porn, and much more.).

I downloaded a torrent of Final Fantasy PS1 games, and got a copyright strike notice from Comcast. That's what got me to buy a VPN.

That's not a block or restriction by your ISP

You left out throttling. It's odd when internet runs faster through a VPN than it does unfiltered.

I also use PIA. The issue with some VPN is how certain can you be that they're not keeping logs. Some say they aren't, but there have been a few instances of *gasp* companies lying. PIA was bought out a little while ago, but seem to be continuing not keeping any logs on your activities. So until that changes, I'll stick with them.

If you really care about your privacy then you should check out https://www.privacytools.io/providers/vpn/ for reliable VPN providers that will respect your privacy, as well as the rest of the website as it's incredibly informative and always updated on the latest privacy tools, tips, and whatnot.

Never the less, I tried Mullvad for 2 months or so. Paid through the mail with no return address. After about a week or so the credit went to my account. The VPN it's self, is great. They have datacenters practically everywhere and connecting is really quick. Of course, the quirk of the VPN is that they are the most if the the best VPN when it comes to respecting privacy. No logs, about every payment method, and ton of other measures to make sure no one knows what your doing on the VPN, not even them. Highly recommend them.

Currently, I just use NordVPN for my needs. Let's just say I find it very easy to be able to have a VPN to use without shelling out anything in any way shape or form in any sort because of a certain incident that happened some time ago. *COUGH* :creep:

Bought Express VPN just the other day and so far I'm liking it. I used to have Nord but found for certain things it was very slow. Also not so long ago they were hacked and all users info was leaked.

I used to use express vpn but found it too expensive to justify. Now I use Cyberghost which is ridiculously cheap if you subscribe to their three year plan. I renewed my plan not long ago and in the 3 plus years I have used them I have not had a single issue. The plan lets you use it on 7 devices too.
