Basically we have to make the nhi ourselves and I just finished doing that to the map so I don’t want to do it again

Has anyone messed around with the new feature of NHSE?
You can edit when villagers are crafting DIY and what they're crafting. You can even have all villagers crafting at once. There is one hang up though. Whichever villager is crafting that day must be tied to some kind of event flag. You can set all villagers to craft but only the villager who is supposed to be crafting that day will be doing so. Regardless it works. Today Teddy is flagged to craft, so when I set him to craft a flower crown until 3am he did it, but setting any other villager to do so did nothing. I don't know if the flag means you can't make more than one villager craft at once but I'm wondering if anyone has any idea which it is. Maybe the new version just isn't working as intended yet. But I thought I'd take a shot and ask.

You can always roll back a version if something happens. The benefit of using the DIY crafting is that you don't have to use your inventory or reserve a spot for dropping some. You can just set your villager to craft and it's unlimited DIY for anyone that wants that specific one. Even easier if you can get all 10 crafting different DIY at once. You can even just afk and let people go from door to door and pick up what they want. That's why I'd like to get it working.

Neither am I, I just don't like sacrificing my town layout just to give out free stuff to people online, lol. I'll see if I can do some hunting on my own to see which flag determines the crafter of the day.

No s***, i was pissing my pants XD, first injected atmos pre-release, then entered stock, updated, restared on stock (just to check), then entered rcm and injected fusee-primary (on the github page), and done.
I was afraid of updating by mistake (already did once), so i took my chances

One thing that just occurred to me.... The sound on the 2600 sucked less back then the harsh sound we hear now is from infinitely better speakers we have now, back when the 2600 was new speakers produced a almost muffled sound, like CRTs made old graphics look slightly better.
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I wonder if I could recommend that to some emulation devs that perhaps the sound could use some smoothing out to simulate those old TVs
  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
I think a few of the early systems could benefit from that, at least up to the 8 bit generation, by the 16 bit generation I think TVs had gotten a lot better in almost every way

  • Psionic Roshambo @ Psionic Roshambo:
It's old but it's the best firmware out for DS stuff
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
it says it only works for the original R4, R4i Gold (r4ids.cn), R4iDSN (r4idsn.com) and Acekard R.P.G.
  • Xdqwerty @ Xdqwerty:
    nvm it does support mine

Just give it a try, but honestly if you have a 3DS you can play DS games without a card just off the internal SD card
