I know how to use chopsticks, problem is i hate Sushi, so i don't get many chances to use it, as for rice, i like flattening my rice before condimenting, so the condiments spread better, so at that point i've already dirtied up a fork, then why not use it? i sometimes force myself to use them to eat Fries or Noodles, though this is mostly for show, as hands and a fork would be way more useful respectively.

I know how to use chopsticks too and its fun.

For fried fish or grilled fish, I use my hands to pick and eat. it is very useful because fork is useless for it. I am sure of any culture in Europe do that.

The hands are the greatest tool of all time for those perfect food.

The problem is the soup and stew which I loved and you can't use the hands as a tool, unfortunately.

The hands are absolutely useless for it so you will have to use the spoon instead or just use the bread to dip it along with spoon. Delicious! :)

fork for fish is more of a "cut with the side, then scoop" deal

I use them to eat snacks and similar crap while reading / working on the computer. Perfect for grabbing stuff while keeping my fingers clean. Also, it prevents me from just grabbing a handful and cramming it in my mouth.

it always eventualy pays off

what motivated you to learn and how did you do it?

interesting

I learned to fight with a sword because my ass hat older brother was always bullying me. Living out in the middle of nowhere meant no karate classes or anything and our 'parents' were about as useful as a condom made of razor blades inside and out. All I had on me was my replica of Saba, the White Power Ranger's sword (I was like, six. Cut me some slack). Turns out due to a manufacturing defect the edge was razor sharp. Couple of good swings from that bad boy soon put an end to debates as to whose turn it was to play Sonic 2. From then on I kept it around to keep the prick in line, and as I got older I just kept practicing and upgrading to new gear until now I have about 13 swords in my flat, my roommate is terrified of me, and I've spent nearly 30 years at this so my skills have improved rather dramatically.

I have the ability to piss a lot of people off (mostly Americans who are supporters of the Gop) just for me being me.
