As of today I’m stop posting cheats here because off websites like https://www.cheatslips.com/ who are making money off our hard work. Very sorry to all who were enjoying the free cheats. And good luck with the community.
It sounds a bit stupid. Imagine if everyone like doing this, there would not be many works of art or free software. I do not see what the problem is that someone earns money also thinks that a website makes it easier for many to look for cheats. And I don't think he will become a millionaire either.
There is no point in putting conditions on this. There are even smarter ways to protest. This is about sharing.

That's the same reason Hieh stopped making awesome ps3 codes back on codemasters project too. Very sad, but people will never stop stealing your work for money from free sites like this unfortunately

That’s not the issue, the problem is , this are free for people to use them, but they are taking the codes and slap their website name and make profits, with others work.
I see , if that so it means this is still the case in the past. our cheat is taken and put on their web site and pay to get the cheat.

Yes the site let you get it for free or if you want you can pay and it seems that they send mails when new cheats are posted .
But also people that knows how tu use a cheat or place it in the correct folder also knows that the cheats are posted in other sites for free . i dont think that site can have earnings even for pay for the web host .
What i regret the most is that cheats are posted under somebody elses name .

Problem is, the Person Posting the Codes on other Sites not giving the Credit to the one doing the hard work of Finding the Codes. If you are going to share the Codes that were Made, give the User, the Post and make sure the site wont charge for the Codes

Also, I recommend everyone to use ads blocker on cheatslips website so they won't get revenues anymore.
Wow I didnt even know the site owner was getting payed :/ I am def gonna keep my ads blocker active.
Cheats were meant to be free; not a profit.
If money is involved, it should only be if a user appreciates the share and wants to donate to the cheat-creator; as a way of saying "thank you so much for your hard work". (Donation should be optional of course)

Guy's please don't stop with providing us that are not qualified to create cheats.
It will be very very sad if we can't find cheats for some difficult games.
I don't understand why stop posting cheats because of what other communities are doing.
It's like evil wins or something. The normal thing would be that even though these idiots continue to steal the cheats, we will continue here with our normal activity, because the cheats are for the members of this community.
Although it would be nice if GBA Temp spoke about it. Perhaps we could make a complaint to the admins, as this content theft is negatively affecting the GBATemp community. Each subforum matters and if the admins are not scratching their balls, they might understand and support this situation.
I'm thinking about different method to make codes not viewable to new members or members with few posts or disable copy/paste on website.
I don't know about everything to shut cheatslips down but Nintendo could seize the domain if they want.
