Thank you so much.

Regarding "Max BP after change", for example, if I hope to change the BP value to 9990 instead of 9999, where in the code value should I change?

Thank you so much.

Regarding "Max BP after change", for example, if I hope to change the BP value to 9990 instead of 9999, where in the code value should I change?

Code:
uint32_t __fastcall savedata::Misc::SetBP(savedata::Misc *this, uint32_t bp)
{
  uint32_t newBp; // w19

  if ( bp >= 9999 )
    newBp = 9999;
  else
    newBp = bp;
  this->m_data.BattlePoint = newBp;
  sub_1428570(25LL, newBp);
  return newBp;
}

the code removes the "if ( bp >= 9999 )" check.
if you want another number, then you need to mod the value, like this:

.text:0000000001438BDC E8 E1 84 52 MOV W8, #0x270F
to
.text:0000000001438BDC C8 E0 84 52 MOV W8, #0x2706

and the cheat code:
[(v1.3.0) 9990 BP after change (on)]

Shield 1.3.0 is +0x30

Note: i did not install the update yet, so untested codes.

New to all the codes so excuse my noob question lol but how would I go about changing these over to codes for Shield? Mostly just wanting the code for bp. Thanks in advance

@Falo... lol... you NEED to stop assuming everyone here is able to do anything with the programming code!

@JibieTenpu was clearly asking there were a digits in the exist code which represented the value 9999 that with nothing but Windows Calculator could change the value to produce a different result (in this case 9990):
Code:
[(v1.3.0) Max BP after change (on)]
04000000 01438BE4 1A883113

The general population consense is that any cheat code which changes a numerical value in a game should allow a user to just edit the cheat code (final result not source) to produce the result they want.

The general public has realized that the Encounter Modifier simply requires plugging into Windows Calculator the PokéDex number then using the Hexidecimal value to edit the final cheat code to produce the desired change. No need for ARMS (still no idea what that is myself) or any other programming tools. The general concenus is all codes can be edited at the final cheat code level to produce a desired change. :wink:

@JibieTenpu, the cheat codes you have been using for Battles Points do NOT correct the game save's internal tracking for Battle Points (nor the Battle Tower win record.) There are 3 values stored in the save file for Battle Points:
  1. Current Available BP
  2. Total BP Earned in Story (includes Battle Tower & Mystery Gift)
  3. Total BP Earned Online (Winning Online periodically awards you more BP)
Since you likely have a Current BP far exceeding what you have earned in your save profile, there's little value nitpicking over the amount of BP you have in game at any moment as a result of a cheat code. Just food for thought since you ask for this code with every version update.

Well, these cheat codes aren't direct memory edits, it does edit the games coding, so changing something does require a little bit of assembler knowledge, and is it really that hard to copy & paste this "MOV W8, #9990" into a website?

I could make a code that reads a value from a code cave, but personally, i like simple solutions better, and it makes less lines of code, also in most games, you don't have the luxury of a code cave directly after or before the code.

here:
[(v1.3.0) 9990 BP after change (on)]
04000000 01438BDC 18000168
04000000 01438BE4 1A883113
04000000 01438C08 00002706
[(v1.3.0) 9990 BP after change (off)]
04000000 01438BDC 5284E1E8
04000000 01438BE4 1A883033
04000000 01438C08 00000000

shield is +0x30, generally, all 0x14????? sword addresses need to be fixed by + 0x30 to get the shield address, most of the lower addresses don't need any changes.

Didn't look very hard
You really need to look at page 1 of this thread more often! :blink: I saw you asking code codes in the general cheat code thread for cheat codes ALREADY exist. (Just click on the spoiler button to see the codes under their respective headers.)

Also... this is a general reminder for anyone that sees this... this thread has a visually pretty collection of codes on PAGE 1.

It's not the fastest to update on WEEK 1 of a new update but a lot is already there any confirmed by multiple sources as tested for the version they are listed under.

I know how it works and I always look before I ask.. sometimes people make codes for one version and not the other or it’s not clear how it works.

You said you looked... so, did you not see the section labeled IVs under BOTH Sword & Shield... before you asked on the other thread?

I specifically stated on in the opening thread: "the main post will be only updated with a cheat if there is a working version for both Sword & Shield."

It's to save people the time of second guessing if the code will work for their version. There's a second for both Sword & Shield to ensure people are only copying over the codes that work on their version (as sometimes, there are differences in the codes.)

It's just wasting everyone's time to ask rudunent questions if you already know where to look first.

I posted on the other tread before I come across this one so don’t be a keyboard ninja and chill out.

Is there a code for all apriballs x999 for the 1.3 version? i am quite new to this and inexperienced, apologies in advance for my question. the codes for the past versions were mostly balls except apricorn balls, i wanted to know if there is one specifically for apriballs or one for all balls in the game. Thank you in advance and have a nice day / evening everyone!

1) use the "pickup x999 cheat":
2)Give an apriball to a pokemon and retake it
3)???
49 PROFIT!

Just to be fair I don't see the cheat for increased experience on page 1 under any spoilers. So does that mean this code just has not been tested further yet?

I provided the experience code on the last thread for shield as I use it consistently. Is there another base page with generalized codes that always work no matter the version?

If not, Maybe you should make sure you update your lists to be current with each version including codes that transcend versions.
