Hey guys! First post so I hope I'm doing everything right.

So as the title suggests, when I load up a wii game USB GX loader it takes me back to the homebrew menu, but it seems to work as the play count still goes up and everything shows up fine. After some research I found out that others who had this issue messed up their CIOS, but I really can't find out what i have to fix in order to solve this. I'll leave a syscheck because the other posts regarding this did as well, any help would be so appreciated as I've been really stuck on this. Thanks!

You need cios on 249, 250, and 251. Use the vwii tutorial on here.
Hmm whenever I try it always says "failed" on them, I just realised so they're not installing :/

edit: would it be safe to download and overlap a fresh set of cios downloads from the internet and try download 249,250, and 251?

I just don't know if downloading more cios files and repeating certain installs for it would cause a brick or something

I don't believe installing cios can cause a brick, since you're essentially installing something to a part of the nand that's empty.

Ahh ok, I'm gonna download another set of CIOS from the guide here, try 249-251 and let you know how it goes!
