Gaming Get gold coin from physical game... possible?

I bought a lot of physical games from switch
Id like to know if there is a way to get gold coin from those or if it applies only to digital
Because with all the physical games i bought... I could buy another game online

You can register physical games on My Nintendo. There's an option when you press + on the game in the Switch home menu. You don't get nearly as many coins as you do for digital games though.

Some cartridge games have coins that expire, and I wasn't able to redeem them. So redeem them as you buy them, and you'll be okay.

i always grab the coins from preowned carts at work that we get in, made about £20 eshop credit so far over the course of a year, nintendo doesnt lock out multiple of the same game but they can only be done once per cart, and then you also get expired games as stated above, so its just pot luck if you can redeem them or not
