That's probably waiting for me ...
The Wiimmfi patch that's supposed to be included in 0.9 final is almost finished, but it still has a couple changes I need to make. I wanted to have that done a long time ago, but sadly I had (and still have) more important security work to do for Wiimmfi that takes quite a bit of time.

I'm hoping to have time for the Priiloader stuff soon to finally update the patch. The Priiloader patch is pretty different, function-wise, from all the other Wiimmfi patchers so there's more stuff to watch out for.

tbh i wasn't waiting for the wiimmfi patch because as is, i don't ship priiloader with the hacks file and if a problem arises we can always just update the git file like we've been doing so far.

the reason ive not updated to a 'final' 0.9 version is because there are still issues i want to tackle but haven't gotten around doing. and because somehow i keep expecting version issues to pop up ( though probably not at this point ).

i should drop the issues though i guess

Oh, I didn't know the hacks_hash.ini wasn't included in the Priiloader release. Well, if that's the case then you don't need to wait for the Wiimmfi patch to be finished; and I'll just make another PR whenever that is finally the case.

I did some testing with a test version of the updated Wiimmfi patch and Priiloader can handle the amount of additional hacks code just fine, so it's very unlikely that we'll need more changes to Priiloader itself for that hacks update.

Hello, I have version 0.8.2. how do I update to 0.9 beta4? Just change the boot.dol, icon.png and the META.xml? There is only one "hack.ini" file available on the latest version page. Whereas before it was a system (.... 4.1, 4.2, 4.3). I take this one ?? Thank you in advance for your reply.

Please look/check in the Settings from the Priiloader the Option "Show Beta Updates" please,it should be ON.
Then you can use the "Check for Update" Option from the Priiloader,but it needs of course a working Internet Connection on your Wii.

I'm talking from memory, but there was an oversight in the software development kit (SDK) of the Wii, and caused an issue with the video output, it was called "horizontal misalignment of the pixels" but apparently it wasn't the correct term. The point is that it gave you a worse looking picture than intended, and it affected anything on 480p, but its effects were more or less visible depending on what TV you used. This was later fixed by Nintendo on Wii models produced in 2010 and later.

The 480p Fix serves as to correct that mistake for earlier Wiis. It has been applied to many homebrew channels and can now be forced on games, but that specific one is to fix the issue with the System Menu.

My Wii is from 2007, so I should turn that option on

ye, it now checks if the vWii's nandloader is installed and stops if it is

I've already installed it. Now it's much more comfortable to launch my original discs from the disc channel and be able to play online with Wiimmfi

As soon as I start the install the initial screen appears, showing the disclaimer and saying "Please wait while we init...". When it disappears a empty screen appears with only a unreadable line of text. It is unreadable because it is half visible at the top of the screen. After this there is only a reaction of the Wiimote when I push A, B or Home. It then shows "Exitting" (notice the double tt!) and then quits.
I tried it from within PriiInstaller (v0.60) and from the Homebrew channel. I also noticed the system menu hacks are gone. Saying something like "Couldn't find any hacks for Sytem Menu v54450". They were working before I started this all this.

I'm obviously missing something here. Anybody any Ideas of what exactly is going one here?

mind posting a syscheck?

i suspect its refusing to install due to something like DarkCorp or the unofficial system menu version you installed.
