Hey guys
So wondering if anyone can help me
I get this error message sometimes when playing games.
Please see attached pictures.
What is the cause/solution?
Thank you
For the first picture, delete that title ID from your contents folder. As for the second picture, its pretty self-explanatory.

Hello, I need some help, please. Thank you.

I have updated Atmosphere (Hekate) in my switch to (v0.14.1/02.08.2020) and using hekate_ctcaer_5.3.2.bin as payload.

However, i don't understand why i hit this error (pk92 decrytion failed; failed to launch HOS!) when i tried to launch CFW sysMMC and Stock.

CFW sysMMC - Error
CFW emuMMC - Launch. This is where all my home brew stuffs are located.
Stock - Error
Fusee - Launch CFW emuMMC

My CFW emuMMC version is on 9.0.0 AMS 0.14.1 E and RCM enabled.

Unfortunately, I don't remember my OFW version.

How can i launch CFW sysMMC and Stock?

Cheers.

hello yall back again ! i was trying to use daybreak to update my emummc (inb4 why animal crossing update, duh) i dumped my own firmware and daybreak validated the update fine, but then i get an error "exfat validation failed" it brings up a few prompts after if i for Sure want to continue . my sd card is formatted to fat32 anyway so i Shouldnt have to worry about it right?

Download the latest package from SDSetup.

Don't overwrite. Delete any and all of the old CFW files on your SD card first then put the new ones on it.
Geez, i have absolutely screwed it up. I have replaced all the files in SD card, accidentally deleted emuMMC folders as well.

What i did next was to create new emuMMC as documented in here.
https://switch.homebrew.guide/emummc/windows.html

I can launch Hekate menu but i can't launch emuMMC anymore. The error said Pk92 decryption failed! Failed to launch HOS!

Is my switch bricked now?

Thank you.

Were you using partition or file based emuMMC before? Also if emuMMC doesn't work, sysMMC wouldn't be affected. In other words, emuMMC not working has nothing to do with the console being bricked.

I believe i am using partition based emuMMC. When i try to launch Fusee i get below error:

nxvoot1 could parse boot0: illegal byte sequence.

If i try to launch the other three options i get Pk92 decryption failed! Failed to launch HOS!.

Any suggestions? Thank you

What package exactly did you download from SDSetup? It asks you specifically what you want.

Hi! It's my firrst time writing here and I don't know if I'm doing it right lol, but I can't find an aswer anywhere, so I'll try here aswell. Also english is not my native lenguage so I'm sorry if I spell something wrong.
I see a lot of people doing treasure islands on Animal Crossing New Horizons on twitter, having 5+ villagers in boxes, they even found a way to modify the turnip prices in their island and let people sell turnips... they’re obviously using an hacked switch to do that... But how is it possible that they go online without getting banned? I figured maybe they’re using an original copy of ACNH, modify their data with atmosphere or SX OS and restart the switch without injecting the RCM, but is this even possible? Do you know how they do that?

Recommended Defaults, i did not tick or untick any options.
You put the files in the "sd" folder on your SD card and you are sending the payload in the "payload" folder?

Just because they are not banned now does not mean they will not be banned in the future. Bans are random and primarily done in waves. There has not been a ban wave in almost a year.

Of course I know that there is always a chance of being banned, I was just curious to know if somebody has done it and how they were doing it. Thanks for your reply though! Also I didn't know bans were done in waves, I thought they just insta-banned you if they detected something strage lol. I hacked my switch like 3 days ago so I'm really new to this.

Insta-bans have and will always be a myth. I don't even have any clue who or what would believe/spread such nonsense.

Yeah, i did, anyway it has been fixed. Thank you your help too.

I followed the unbrick switch guide and with exceptional help from the owner of this guide.

Hey everyone! I'm a longtime member from the Wii scene, ready to try Switch :)

I see from the guide that only Switches on 4.10 firmware or earlier work:
Currently, all Nintendo Switches sold before July 2018 can run custom firmware. Switches sold after this point may only be exploitable if they are on firmware 4.1.0.

Is this information correct? And if so, what's a good way to find a switch that's on 4.10 or earlier?

I don't have a switch yet and have no idea what those are :p

Am I better buying an old switch or a new one? Is softmod better than modchip right now? I'm good with a soldering gun, not afraid to open up electronics
