I use flux and a temp cont and a microscope :D
I cleaned the flux after, let me check these points.

but my main issue is the final cap you solder the chip to is shorted as well as the one below.

can anything from the qsb cause this

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I removed the qsb completly, and both caps are shorting

So guys i faced an issue, install was good, showed it over to several guys, attached the chip, kept getting pink pink pink, although soldering was good.

decided to unsolder thr chip, console boots to ofw normally, attached a new chip, bam got a green light and boot.dat, was getting my phone to take a photo, console restarted and glitched to pink.
Turned it off and tried one more time, the chip has no power this time and boots to stock.
Decided to test the cap for continuity and it was ok
Tested the smaller cap below found a short.

removed the chip, and tested the console, powered on and got a weird hiss sound, automatically powered off, tested for shorts on caps, and both are shorted

here is the before and after, if anyone can assist with this weird thing, as i tend to have a habbit of weird stuff happening at the end each time, and havent succeded in a lite yet

you got some solder all over the connector that your nand qsb plugs into. if you haven't already, remove that solder blob from the connector in your second pic. also check everywhere for solder that could have dripped or splashed without you knowing.

I removed the chip, and the nand qsb, and still a short at the cap that powers the chip
Ill investigate tommorow under the microscope for any solder that went to the sd slot.
I honestly forgot to tape around it before soldering, maybe something flew.
The second picture is the old chip that i replaced with a new one, that was the one goving continous pink, even after i removed that solder, i was expermenting with wired installs prior, and when i replaced with the new one, it glitched to green then console restarted and chip wasnt powering.
will update in 10 hours and see under the microscope for any solder

I am not sure if this has been posted already but there is a workaround for missing sd card drivers after installing SX Core/Lite (I forgot to install drivers first on one of my installs).

SX OS should boot as expected but CFW will not work until the drivers are installed. To fix it just lunch OFW and the console will try to boot but will turn off. Simply turn the console back on and it will boot to OFW. Accept the prompt to update and wait for the system to reboot. That's it, you can create emunand and launch CFW after.
Thanks for this tip. I made 110% sure I could read my sd card before I installed the sx core, but it's good to know there's a way to recover from this anyway. Seems like an easy thing to happen.

Finally Finally
I needed this one to work so bad
That was my final lite before giving up

Dont put the shield yet, make nand backup , copy to pc, then rename the backup on sd card to emunand, activate licence test, maybe protect the shield with kapton tape around the area where sx lite sit or the sx lite partialy on the edges.
If you already put the shield and no problems ignore.

How did a switch lite get banned before chip installation?

Console ban, bought 4 of these kids to test the lite installtion on, lost 3 and 1 passed :D
Will sell it and get my money back

these are console banned due to charge backs a couple of month ago, there was a glitch in fortnite, where they kept spamming and getting the money back, so nintendo banned a shit ton of consoles

On ps4 a customer said he got console ban for chargeback , i have no ideea on switch.
@Xandroz must now .
Yeah it's why I'm asking. Nintendo will only ban the account for chargeback/stolen cc issues. You can create a new account and the system will work just fine. Users over at reddit have done this after buying cd keys online that the original seller used stolen credit cards to purchase. On top of your original comment of the user/parent doing a chargeback.

As far as I know, the only way to get a console banned is through system modifications. Hacking, homebrew, modchip, etc.

Ok, that makes more sense. Repeat offenders on the same equipment.

These are console banned bro, had them in the closet for the past 3 month waiting for the sx lite

Each one of these puppies has vbucks charge back of more than 5000 dollars

Remember the scandel that was a couple of month back, of the stolen accounts

thats what they did with these accounts

You can get it via chargeback if you abuse, the guy who sold the consoles to me told me he made over 60 accounts on each switch :D

hence nintendo fucked it and banned the system, i even gave em a call, he told me no way its a console ban for excessive charge back

Holy shit that's a lot of paste.
No man , recommended by all installers to put 3 lines on the heat sink on top.
After opening the switch i honestly dont know how this processor is being cooled, with the thermal paste on the caps not cpu, and blobs of paste everywhere
