Hello everyone,

i have couple of questions.

1. When i bought my switch like 5 years ago or smth i make a nand backup and made with sx os a emunand on the SYSnand
2. Now today i wanted to restore the original NAND and make emunand on my SD card.

My Problem is that the backuped dump nand files are somehow not copying to my switch... i think my hd is corrupted but what ever...

My first question is: if i make a new sysnand dump now, will it make the backup copy of the nand WITH the CFW SYSemunand? or only the original sysnand?
my second question: if it is possible somehow after the new dump to remove the cfw from the sysemunand ?

Switch only been on the market for 3 1/2 years where you get 5 years from.

Sysnand and Emunand are seperate nand, if you never launched CFW on Sysnand then Sysnand is clean, emunand doesn't touch sysnand at all. You can use Hekate to make a copy of Sysnand NAND backup.

Like i told... back then i made emunand ON the SYSNAND. Back then only this method existed!
How can i remove the emunand from the sysnand?

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

it was long ago, maybe i no longer remember what exactly it was...

i dont care if my backup is clean or not i just want to backup the original nand without the cfw

or maybe i made cfw on sysnand, but now i switched the sd cards and i still have the "boot cfw" option for sxos and its working... that means the cfw is not stored on sd card

i think i have sysnand cfw then the questions are: how can i remove cfw from sysnand? i want to use emunand
THX!

I believe you are horribly confused or not expressing yourself properly.

Boot the console without any tool. You are in OFW. That's it.
Make Emunand while in a payload.
Simple.

Or did you setup your emunand in the system partition?

i think i explained it totally wrong!

i bought switch like on day 1 on release and sx os. i made nandbackup and played on cfw and till now still perfect!
Question: i am sure that the cfw i am using is not on the SD card, because i bought new one and when i boot sx menu it still boots me to the cfw.
But now i want to use emunand.
That means i want to use cfw from emunand and not sysnand.
therefore i want to know how to remove the cfw from sysnand.

Dude, the payload is what makes the CFW possible. Without it, you have a clean SysNand.
Try it. Boot the console without the dongle and see for yourself.

ok so i am using normal FW with CFW and if i update the CFW with new FW, the original switch fw will updated as well?

Dude... You're getting on my nerves... That is the version of the Switch OS. Current Switch system version is that. That is what it needs to be to connect online. THAT IS THE OFFICIAL NINTENDO VERSION OF THE SWITCH.

Now, SXOS has it's version. I don't care which.

Use SXOS to make an EmuNand as you want. It will come out clean.
