Homebrew FBI CIA installation error.

I decided to attempt to download the original flipnote onto my 3ds (along with dsi sound and photo), when i get the following error:
Failed to install CIA file.
Result code: 0xD8E0806A.
Level: Permanent(27)
Summary: Invaild argument(7)
Module: AM(32)
Desc: Cert signature or hash check failed. (106)
Am i dealing with something like a corrupted cia file?

1. Copy everything off the SD card to a computer.
2. Quadruple reformat.
3. Full Write + Verify the empty card in H2testw. Do not skip.

This sounds pretty difficult, and i dont know if it will end up fucking up my sd card or anything and i dont plan on taking risks.

It was also working perfectly before, i was able to install other cias (miitopia and animal crossing).
I dont think its a faulty/fake, and god if it was dying.
