as for the Time cheat, all I know is that is the correct address. I double checked (The costume cheat is right next it to and it also has problems.) I couldn't tell you why they don't work, I just know thats where the address moved to.

There is nothing to look at again. What are you talking about? Maybe just look at the memory before you start debating me?

I didn't have a problem with these cheats so obviously what you are saying is not true. Moving the address over a few bytes isn't going to suddenly break down the original ASM cheat. Those values almost NEVER change, and in this case 100% didn't change. I've converted many many ASM cheats this way, and I will continue to convert ASM cheats this way. I don't know what your problem is.

Look man, you know I love ya, I have fun working with you when we work on cheats together, Im glad to have somebody like you around, but you came after me, not the other way around. Somebody asked me how I did something, I told them how I did it, and you are telling me Im wrong. I didnt ask for that.

Ok, this game was very good for me. ZiT did the cheats but they stop working at level 3 on my switch.
I did these and they worked for me throughout the game.

^I can't get tools code to work though, and make sure DON'T get any items you don't have any idea for (like the jewels or gifts). Use the cheats accordingly, maybe just for skipping the grinds.

I tried using the older version of dragon quest builders 2 that way with tinfoil but it says update required when I try to start the game. Is there a way around that?

Reset version requirements using tinfoil, it's in the uninstall section of the game. Make sure you also delete any DLCs tied to the update.

I'm not sure actually, but as of now only v1.0 have codes for item spawn, and I'm not waiting for them to patch it.

I did, I open tinfoil, go to installed games, go to the uninstall section of the game and delete the update and all DLCs and then press reset version requirements. But when I try to start it it still says game update required. Has sx core something to do with it not working perhaps?

Hmm that's weird.

Try using this (DBI), its like a more straightforward goldleaf, use it to reset the required version.
If it still persists, I'm afraid the problem would be the save file itself, maybe it is incompatible with the previous versions of the game?
You could try backing up saves first and delete them, see if the prompt is still there

Only dev menu can truly reset required version. Note though resetting required version will still nag you about an update available because this data come from the fw itself.

the DBI @MagnesG posted I did get it to work with some games.
