Hacking Animal Crossing update 3

Hi , so i fist put the update so it wont open anymore i was on atmosphere 9.2, so i update the hekate and atmhosphere to latest and then it will keep hanging on nintendo switch promt, then did everything it occuer to mee, unistall, re install, install onlly the nds, then only the xci, tinfoil would reject the xci so i try the shampoo installer wich did install it, but same, stuck at switch load screan i cant even get the AC logo, i had a 5 star island done by all my family i had all previouslly update successfull the 1.2 and events, if i install the animal crossing NDS without update it does start loading, but tells me my save is corrupt, please help this poor peeasant!

I chatted to a guy about this on another forum and come up with a conclusion.

he updated his animal crossing on 9.2 and it stopped working

We ended up updating his emunand using Choi (DONT If you are using a Sx chip)

we took him to 10.0.3 and now the new updated animal crossing worked.

seems update doesn’t work on 9.2 using Sx OS

thanks for repply, i believe is the card with no emunand, i am using hekate and atmhosphere, i been temp to start a new game with game clean and forget about my save but i am not readdy yet.. tyvm

You cannot expect to be able to play new games and/or new updates without updating your system version. Newer games and updates will eventually require whatever the newest system version is at the time.

The latest system version available for the Switch, as of this post, is 10.1.0. Atmosphere and other custom firmwares currently support 10.1.0, and you should update to this version. You can update a clean NAND from the system settings. You can update a dirty NAND using ChoiDujourNX. If you don't want to burn your fuses when updating a sysNAND, you can install AutoRCM. If you are updating an emuNAND, you don't need to worry about fuses. If you don't care about being able to downgrade, then you don't need to worry about fuses at all.

I'm talking about updating the Switch's system version to the latest (10.1.0 as of this post), not Atmosphere or Hekate.

tym i tought you only needed to update atmosphere and hekate, so i put the switch update the nintendo one? is this what i am missing, sorry for the bad english, i tought the custom firware was the atmosphere and that was what made the switch 10.1 huge thanks i been running in circlues!

Do the following:

1. Make sure the SD card is FAT32.
2. Remove all CFW files/folders from your SD card (that would be folders like /sept/ and /atmosphere/)
3. Download the latest Atmosphere
4. Download the latest fusee-primary (next to Atmosphere)
5. Download these signature patches (for Atmosphere v0.13.0)
6. Put Atmosphere and the signature patches onto your SD card
7. Download the 10.1.0 update and put the folder onto the root of your SD card.
8. Download ChoiDujourNX and put it onto your SD card.
9. Put the SD into your Switch
10. Enter RCM
11. Launch Atmosphere using fusee-primary
12. Open the homebrew launcher, preferably using title override (not the photo album)
13. Launch ChoiDujourNX
14. Update to 10.1.0. If you don't want AutoRCM, disable that option.
