I want to check if my V1 Switch is patched ( my serial number is on the orange area and probably patched XAJ400695xxx ). I have an R4s dongle and a jig. Do I need to check if it can get payloads through a PC with a test payload or can I just use the dongle to be easier?
Stock firmware is 4.1 so I want to know if I ll use fusee gelee or to use caffeine method.

You should be able to use the dongle, as long as you're certain it's functional.

I really love NeutOS (the atmosphere fork that allows for Tinfoil to work) and the service it means to the switch community to not have to buy SXOS. It's worked awesome but I have a problem.

I recently updated to Firmware 10.1.0 using ChoiDojourNX, and the EmmuMMC is updated with no problem; I couldn't open the games right after, but with some sigpatches it has been fixed. Now my issue is that I cannot use HEKATE (which I'm pretty sure it's not supposed to be a surprise, I think Hekate just doesn't work with Neutos all that well) - NOW THE THING IS, I can boot into the EmmuMMC, and it's working great, but I cannot boot into the CFWsysnand (was never able; I can either RCM it, inject a payload by the name payload.bin, and go straight into EmmuMMC, OR not RCM and boot HOS by default on the STOCK) - this was never a major step back, but now I REALLY NEED TO BOOT INTO THE CFWSYSNAND, so that I can update it to 10.1.0 and by effect update the STOCK to 10.1.0 without getting banned (or risk it at least). QUITE SIMPLY PUT; I cannot boot the CFWSYSNAND with HEKATE, and thats the only way I know how to do it. Is there an alternative way to boot into the CFWSysnand with NEUTOS? or to patch this so that it works with Hekate? - or is this finally the day that I will actually buy SXOS?

For further information; when I inject the latest hekate payload, the mini menu is fine, but once I go 'Launch' and press CFWSysnand, I get an error that says the following:

"Error while loading fss0:atmosphere/fusee-secondary.bin

Wrong ini cfg or missing files/

Failed to launch HOS/

Press any key..."

If I figured out how to boot into the CFWSysnand then this would be perfect. Beforehand I thank anyone who figures this out. Cheers xx -

Neutos has been discontinued for a long time now in favor of ReiNX. Either use that or if you want to use Hekate, build a CFW package using SDSetup

I haven’t updated my hacked switch for at least the last 6-9 months or so. I’m looking to play a backup of animal crossing (and maybe paper mario when I get a copy) and think I will need to update to play it? Is there a guide to update an already hacked switch?

4. Download the latest fusee-primary (next to Atmosphere)
5. Download these signature patches (for Atmosphere v0.13.0)
6. Put Atmosphere and the signature patches onto your SD card
7. Download the 10.1.0 update and put the folder onto the root of your SD card.
8. Download ChoiDujourNX and put it onto your SD card.
9. Put the SD into your Switch
10. Enter RCM
11. Launch Atmosphere using fusee-primary
12. Open the homebrew launcher, preferably using title override (not the photo album)
13. Launch ChoiDujourNX
14. Update to 10.1.0. If you don't want AutoRCM, disable that option.

AutoRCM boots your console automatically to RCM when you power on. It corrupts your boot files so the switch enter RCM.

Hello i am getting my Lite with SX Lite today. Somebody on a german Forum buidl it in, Sorry for my bad english.
I Have 2 RCM Seitch but with the not combatible software im a little bit confused.
Is it right first things to do :

1. Nand Backup with SX OS
2. EmmuNand (Partition) with SX OS
3. Lockpick only woks as nro to get the biskey (Masterkeys are not so important right)
4.Incognito works only as nro and wu should onyl use it in EmuNand.

Did i forget something, maybe 90 DNS?

I only just now discovered that while I'm still able to access the album on my Switch, running the latest ReiNX, I don't seem to be able to share screenshots through Twitter?

At least when I tried to do this, having selected the screenshots to be shared, the OS loaded the hbmenu instead of showing the share screen >_>

I have problems with tinfoil and retroarch using newest atmosphere and hekate. I can't find a way to get those 2 apps running while being on emuEMMC. Tinfoil doesn't install at all (all I have is a waiting icon on the hbb menu, which can't be opened) and retroarch immediatly crashes when I open it. I'm using a recommended 128GB Fat32 sd-card. I only want an emulation handheld with zelda botw and lots of retro games. Is there a way to check what is wrong?

It's hard to know what your setup is like. I would recommend doing the following:

1. Make sure the SD card is FAT32.
2. Remove all CFW files/folders from your SD card (that would be folders like /sept/ and /atmosphere/)
3. Download the latest Atmosphere
4. Download the latest fusee-primary (next to Atmosphere)
5. Download these signature patches (for Atmosphere v0.13.0)
6. Put Atmosphere and the signature patches onto your SD card
7. To force emuNAND, add "emummc!enabled = 1" to "emummc/emummc.ini"
8. Redownload the latest versions of problematic homebrew apps and put them onto your SD card
9. Put the SD into your Switch
10. Enter RCM
11. Launch Atmosphere using fusee-primary

After following these steps, try running homebrew. It is recommended that you use title override and not the photo album.

As you already advise me this in a previous post I did exactly as told. Yet I still have these issues. Now I came upon the thing that you should create 2 partitions when using emummc and use sd partition instead of sd file when creating the emummc. Is this correct?

If you're using Hekate to boot Atmosphere, you might not be following my instructions.

You are right, on that point I still booted atmosphere through hekate due to being unsure if it would boot directly to the emummc, but this is gone now and I do boot directly.

But Ill first try the sd partition and see if this was what was causing my problems. I hope this works and I can finaly get ready with my retro handheld.

Incognito and 90DNS both accomplish the same thing so you don't need both although I recommend 90DNS as its safer to use and doesn't require CFW unlike Incognito.

The latest version of SX Autoloader is version 1.4 which was updated to support 10.X firmware versions and was released on April 24. Because Team Xecuter is not responsible for developing this homebrew application but rather Team WAIN, it is not published on TX's website. Instead it is shared on maxconsole.

All Nintendo Switch firmware versions are copyrighted material so no one can share where to download those files on this forum even via PM. The assumption is that you would look up on the Internet where to get it and download it yourself.
