I've recently played Burnout Paradise on Switch and the lack of anti aliasing in handheld is terrible. This, with a resolution of, my guess 480p, maybe 540p, leads to a terrible image quality.

Can something be done to improve the quality and have 720p and antialising in handheld? Reverse nx would not do it for me, I don't want to play with a charger, but maybe gpu overclock 460mhz, 1200 Cpu and 1600 ram could do the trick?

I'm thinking of the great work that was done on Outer Worlds and both Xenoblades.

Thank you!

From what I saw in code (it's not confirmed by any tech reviewer) game is 720p in handheld and 900p in docked. This is if it doesn't have dynamic res.

Code:
iVar8 = GetOperationMode();
DAT_710145a1fc._0_4_ = 1600;
if (iVar8 != 1) {
   DAT_710145a1fc._0_4_ = 1280;
}
DAT_710145a1fc._4_4_ = 900;
if (iVar8 != 1) {
   DAT_710145a1fc._4_4_ = 720;
}

It's definitely not 480p.

yes agree handheld is not 720p maybe 480p
Its have dynamic res
Overclock to 1780 760 1600 u will get native res

For that I will need a charger, which defies the whole purpose of a handheld mode.

Can something be done to improve the IQ? Much appreciate your previous efforts

Overclock gpu to 460mhz and you'll be fine. I think game gets stable 720p with it. At least I don't see any differences with docked mode.

Wtf, the game looks and plays amazingly well, even on stock clocks... Thank god its smooth 60fps, i'd take 60 with semi-decent graphics over 30 with good picture quality all day. And also you mostly drive with a speed of light in this game, 540p or 720p won't make a huge difference anyway, too fast for sightseeing.

According VG tech youtube channel
Portable mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 1280x720 and the lowest resolution found being 640x720. The resolution drops below the maximum value more often in portable mode than in docked mode.
Docked mode uses a dynamic resolution with the highest resolution found being 1600x900 and the lowest resolution found being approximately 1152x900. The resolution seems to rarely drop below 1600x900 in docked mode.

Do you think there's room for a bump in resolution with OC?
