Nope, haven't even used it since then.

Hey! Just so you know, I figured it out! try running pplay through homebrew menu not in applet mode (hold R while starting a game through the Switch's home menu untill the hb menu opens) and pplay won't freeze anymore because of the subtitles.

@cpajuste quick question, does it play 1080p videos in 1080p when it is docked? i know that it could only be 720p when it is undocked since the switch only has a 720p screen but what about when it is docked? please tell me, thank you

Since there's no new ver, I take it pPlay 3.1 works fine for FW 10.0.4 with CFW AMS 0.13

I m still on fw 10.0.0 with AMS 0.12. Need to update soon for the current games coming out

remember that 10.0.0 to 10.0.4 is not a big updates, just correct somes minor problems :)
First time you see 5 releases with 13 efuses

I know but it seems that there's lotsa of complains regarding AMS 0.13. Games not installing or can't run, homebrews not running etc. I m here just see if pPlay works before i update to ofw 10.0.4

Yes it works on 10.0.4 I`m on it and it works great, of course using the full memory to launch the HB menu.

Also I hope to see some update soon, I would love to use a HDD to use this on TV and save some SD space.

anyone knows if i can use the dock's usb and stick a thumbdrive and get pplay to play movies from the thumdrive instead of putting it in the memory card?

anyone knows if i can use pplay to play movies from a usb thumbdrive that i put into the dock's usb slot?

Does pPlay use the GPU? Just wondering how battery life/playback with pPlay would compare to the video player in Ubuntu
No. Horizon homebrew currently doesn't have access to the GPU for video decoding, so it's done on the CPU. This would use more battery than a player in Ubuntu, if said player uses the GPU.

Could somebody make a build with USB function? It would be the ultimate homebrew being able to read movies, music and whatnot from a USB HDD. I hope someone takes the baton, or the developer adds it. It would be awesome. I know it's no easy stuff, but man, that would be awesome.

Are you guys able to get ftp working? I set everything up but the network tab is blank and the server doesn't seem to be receiving any requests.

FTP is currently broken on 3.1 and the dev doesn't seem to be actively working on this project anymore.

The v2.1 from the release page doesn't do anything on my end. Freezes after launch.
What's that "HD versoin" you are talking about in the issue?

@cpasjuste Could you please fix FTP? It's very important to me.
I want to access files on my AVM FritzBox NAS.
Feel free to drop me a test build anytime!
