Do you know of anywhere I can get a copy of the wii u OS for reflashing?

i am asking for a copy of the operating system because my used Wii u i bought has error code 160-1710 ( corrupted game save) and it will not go to any menus.
prior it had the previous owners Nintendo id on it and the system would not let me add a new account and gave me corrupt error code. so I saw they had an incomplete download - i deleted it. then i proceeded to factory reset the system so i could start fresh.
That worked at first but after I was completing my login of my Nintendo ID it went to black screen error code 160-1710 and has not changed. No longer can I access anything.
I talked to Nintendo, geek squad and looked at forums. No one has a copy. BUT I am trying this repair place near me that for free diagnoses and they said they think they have the OS to reinstall fresh to clear the corrupted file issue.,
I wanted a copy of the OS for myself because I usually fix these things myself. I bought a cheap ps4 and it was corrupted and I installed fresh OS and its been great ever since.
So was just trying to have this as a backup so if I ever need it again or this repair shop doesn't have it , I might have a chance .

Sounds like cbhc. If you saw an "Autobooting..." message at powering on the console of course.

so I saw they had an incomplete download
That was an dns blocker. That was an indicator that the blocker was working.

i deleted it. then i proceeded to factory reset the system so i could start fresh.

Sounds definitely like cbhc (I'm not sure, but it sounds for me like cbhc). That means you're screwed now for the case you don't have a nand backup. And you need this backup from THIS console. Not from other users here or someone else. The nand backup contains the console specific keys. And they are different on every console. Means, you can't restore a nand backup from another consoles.

No one has a copy
Yeah. Because it's useless to ask someone. Your console is now trash/garbage if you don't have a backup. And by the way, the only way to restore a nand backup on a wii u is a hardmod.

Another unit down and ready for this list.

I might have a chance
If you don't have a nand backup...not really.

Well I got lucky and my system was able to be restored by that Ubreakit I fix it people. So I should make a backup for it now then on a separate flash atleast 32GB or more probably.

The Wii U NAND is (depending on your model) either 8 or 32GB. As a result of this, to create a full backup of your console’s NAND, your SD Card has to be larger than the size of your NAND. If you do not have a large enough SD Card, you can skip the optional MLC section which includes save files and game data and is not needed to recover most types of bricks.

Do i need to mod my Wii U to do this back up or can I do this back up as it is stock and unmodded?

so if you have a corrupt file and you have the right software to being able to look into the wii U without using the wii U menu then you can try to fix corrupt file data that way.
For reflashing with NAND you can edit serial codes and numbers to match the console it is going onto. You have to be able to see the serial and numbers of your Wii U so you can properly edit the NAND flash.

But one and last interesting question? Do you know how they did it? I mean, without a nand backup?
