Isn't GBAtemp a pirate's fiesta, though

Well I don't know the percentages but most people who own a CFW system pirate games. I'm a pirate and I don't have no shame in my game but I do buy games because buying the game is the most easiest hassle free. Sony and Microsoft is taking wind of this and offering serves such as game pass and PS Now to combat piracy. I strongly believe piracy will be obsolete in a few years anyway.Piracy has a lot of inconveniences anyway.

But for the topic it's a good and bad sale most of these are super old and it's for PC. 9/10 times you provably own them

Fair enough they legitimately are present although of those 4 you mentioned I only heard about half of them (... and I fancy myself a square fan) ... so I really don't feel like the representation is there... that's just my opinion though... to put it plainly I am disappointed in the game selection

Oh, don't get me wrong, this is definitely an Eidos centered collection for sure (I think some 75% of these are Eidos IPs ), but there was nothing stopping Squeenix from adding some Final Fantasy titles into the mix other than "we like money, can't let the charities get any of that sweet FF cash!"

Did this bundle get taken down? The source link in the description just takes me to the Steam Store front page, and I can't find the bundle by searching for it in the store.

And to answer your previous question no this site is not meant to be your "pirate's paradise". was it made by pirates for pirates, yes but things change over time ... like your attitude should

Dude, you can hop right off that high horse of yours. The Eidos library is trash, and this is a fake-assed attempt to pay salaries; not do charity. This isn't even a "deal".

I am being harsh, but they did spread themselves thin. Did you pay for and play all 24 Tomb Raider games? Nobody has. Do you like your water lukewarm? Nobody should. Their business strategy allowed them to be bought out by SE in the first place. Their IPs were all done better by SE.

I enjoyed SE's rendition of Tomb Raider, but then they just started spitting them out, not allowing the fanbase to relish enough in the fact that there was a revival. The only thing that has anything to do with Japan, here, is my location. Idk wtf you are talking about, other than trying to take a cheap shot.

its called budget, a company can make better games when they have a big bank backing them... and yeah they made alot of tombraider games, those are like their main IP but again most of them were good games for that time and age, while they have many series that arent as popular but have amazing games like theif and deus ex.

Not true. Perhaps you forget how SE became so rich in the first place. Pacing is important, and a vision is important. I am sure that SE had some vision, at least, when they purchases Eidos. Eidos was so happy about their success with Lara that they put the cart before the horses.

I don't recognize SE having Japanese roots being the foundation of this conversation. They pander to the entire world and they have headquarters in America, just like Nintendo. Sony and Nintendo consoles are superior to Xbox. So there's that. Japanese culture isn't the center of any of these points, here.

you forgot eidos worked with square long time before being bought they made pc ports of many square games on late 90s and early 00s, they had a relantionship way before being bought.

Also square has done alot of crap, same way any company, there isnt a company with just hits on their trackrecord.

Is Eidos still helping them make ports? That would explain a lot about the 90's up to now! SE has a lot of garbage too, but it's easy to recognize a lot more better games in their library, which should have been included if they were so serious about charity.
