ROM Hack FF7 "Beacause" re-translation on Switch

Hi all!

Sorry if this has been asked before, I'm not super familiar with GBAtemp!

I was wondering if anyone managed to succesfully patch FF7 for Switch with the Beacause translation? the Remake made me want to replay the original and I'm in love with the switch (and the cheats in the most recent re-releases lol).

There has been some research in the Remako thread but I'm not whether or not someone got it working. I'd be also very interested in a port of Beacause to the switch.

Is this patch make ff7 run at 16:9 instead of 4:3 or I’m mistaken?

the text boxes are fine until there's a multiple choice, then it's all stretched and can't read what's going on (also, disappointed to see they still went for a weird MrT vibe for poor barret.. i guess there's no escaping with that)

That will happen if the switch AA which is on by default are able to turn that off ur 16:9 will happen dood

ah i'm sorry, i have no idea what you're talking about ahah. Can you tell me what the switch AA is, and what i can do to have the correct aspect ratio on the text boxes? thanks!

aa is anti aliasing, the smoothing of the jagged edges on models/texture edges.

aah, gotcha. So if i find a way to turn off the anti-aliasing, i should be able to view those text boxes correctly?
