Hacking Question what exactly can i do with a banned switch

so some time ago i bought an injector, tried custom firmware, and as a novice didnt really know what i was doing, didnt even get a game running lol, and it got banned shortly after, since then it will now allow me to get updates for the console and games, but i cant play online and i cant access the E-shop, all my fault i know not asking for sympathy or anything like that, but its been some time since i have looked into it , and have no idea where we are,

currently i have the ns-atmosphere injector that i purchased way back when, and i need a new micro SD card as all mine seem to have vanished.

but what can i do with it, when i tried to run back ups which was the primary reason for trying custom firmwares but at the time i couldnt get games onto the SD card because they were over a certain size?

so in the most basic way possible can i :

easily download and install custom firmware

download and play back up games,

access any form of E-shop

access any form of DLC for currently owned games.

if the above is possible with what i have (obvs need a micro SD) whats the simplest way of doing such things

yes, you can do all of these and many more like playing online with other banned/cfw users.

the certain size error comes from how sdcard formatting works. there is fat32 and exfat,
fat32 is recommended, because it allowes multiple accsesses (e.g. firmware and game) allthough it saves stuff in blocks of 4gb.
exfat doesnt have those blocks so u can easily put large files on but it is general less safe to use for this (bricks and data corruption)

easiest thing to do is to install a pc client like goldleaf/goldtree to install nsps from pc so you dont have to manually slpit nsps in 4gb files (not hard but annoying.) or something like hgb shop gives accsses to games and dlc, though... please support the devs of games you would have bought if you N let you.

thanks for the help, with goldleaf/tree do i need any extra equipment, and also is the injector that i already have ok or do i need something else.

uhm a usb-c cable to connect the switch with pc, other then that I don't think so. everything you need stands in the homebrew guide.
you wont need more. injector was a good option.
