Warning: This is now part of vWii NAND Restorer and is no longer in development

slccmpt-fixer

This fixes the modes for slccmpt01 (vwii) on the wii u
People had issues doing it with wupserver + wupclient so I made a homebrew for it.
I don't know if it really works so testers are welcome.

How to use
  • Place the .elf to sd:/wiiu/apps
  • Run cfw (mocha or haxchi)
  • Run, press A

Why?

When restoring a slccmpt file backup the correct modes needs to be set. This is exactly what this program does.
There are already other methods (for Example with wupserver) but this is probably the easiest

TODO
  • support for restoring a slccmpt.bin directly from sd card (do we need this?)
Disclaimer
I am not responsible for any additional bricks. This is still in early development and I am not an expirienced Wii U developer.

Thanks for this, will try this out as soon as I can. Implementing a slccmpt.bin restore option would be very useful as well.

Update: The app worked fine, at least in the sense that it booted up and set the permissions successfully. But my vWii still goes to black screen. This console must have a deeper issue than bad NAND permissions. I'm sure this application did everything it needed to do, so thank you so much for making it available.
