This sounds similar to the issue I had when I tried giving my friend two animals on version 1.1.2 and they ended up with 2 bugged plots... Did you only do one at a time? How many plots open did you have at the time? (Just 1? More than 1?)

Has anyone gathered any of the New Horizons images used within the game like the posters or the vectors styled icons?
Is there any way to change the primary player? It seems that we also made the mistake to let our kid play first...

I've been using that one but cannot seem to find a way to save them as nhd...it only wants to save it as a acnl file, and I tried changing the extension after saving it but the editor still didn't like that

Did you do this on version 1.1.4 or 1.1.3? I don't think that the update would have changed anything with the villagers but I guess I haven't tried it since the update...

Does anyone have the instructions/guide on how to generate a DIY recipe using the latest NHSE?

Every DIY recipe is just a different count value of item#5794 in NHSE. If you wanted to generate all of them you'd have to edit the count value, set into inventory, rinse and repeat until you have all of them. Would take forever though as some count values create a blank DIY recipe

Eventhough the New 3DS XL is more powerful, I still feel like the DS Lite was a more polished system. It's a real shame that it never got an XL variant keeping the GBA slot. You'd have to go on AliExpress and buy an ML shell to give a DS phat the unofficial "DS Lite" treatment, and that's the best we'll ever get I'm afraid.+1 -

@Jayro, I don't see whats so special about the DS ML, its just a DS lite in a phat shell. At least the phat model had louder speakers, whereas the lite has a much better screen.+1 -

Agreed, that why I try to buy all my games on disc, Xbox anyways. Switch games (which I pirate tbh) don't matter much, I stay offline 24/7 anyways.

@BakerMan - you can still "own" digital media, arguably easier and better than physical since you can make copies and backups, as much as you like.

You can buy drm free games / music / ebooks, and if you keep backups of your data (like documents and family photos etc), then you shouldn't lose the game. but with a disk, your toddler could put it in the toaster and there goes your $60
