Don't think anyone's seen it mention but I finally got KK to appear on my island so I "beat" the game and immediately after getting control of my character again I got notifications that I had completed the Bug and Fish critterpedia after having previously done the All Fish/Bug/Fossil cheats.

So if you did those, and were annoyed they weren't marked as being completed in Critterpedia, it looks like they will once you have beaten the main storyline.

So, I don't know how to do this on a Windows computer, but if you have a Linux machine this might be useful for you.
(Possibly could find bspatch for windows? Please don't ask me to troubleshoot for Windows, lol.)

I created a .patch file that puts a villager in boxes once applied to a .nhv file with bspatch. Let's make the example Lolly
Create a copy of your Lolly.nhv file with a new name and put it in the same folder as Lolly.nhv. Let's call it Lolly_moving.nhv, but the name doesn't really matter.
Open your terminal in the same folder as the two villager files, and the move.patch file attached to the post. Enter
Code:
bspatch Lolly.nhv Lolly_moving.nhv move.patch
And that's it!
Now load Lolly_moving.nhv over Lolly in NHSE. I guess it doesn't strictly have to be over Lolly, but it will create a Lolly villager in boxes on your save.

I just tried it with Lolly (go figure) and Sherb (separately, I wouldn't do more than one at once) and it seems to work just fine.
well i try with Megan and Dom and Raymond its not working please make other file (move.patch) for them .

no, it's fine to have them move in they don't have to be out of boxes and yes it does give the correct exterior and interior

Ok I gave this a try. The plot does have the name of the villager I added in NHSE and no duplicate house but the neighbor I added is also walking around as a ghost without a house and her clothes are constantly changing. Does this stop when she officially moves in tomorrow? Because if not, this was a failed experiment.

Has anyone tried to move or add rocks to island in NHSE? I can't find a way to do it and not sure it's possible. Anyone have an idea it can do that?

So I invite over Raymond to my island with the moving patch thing. Now he's gone. House still here, says he still lives here, just like the amiibo ghost house glitch. I can't seem to be able to kick him out. What do I do?

The house is there? Or just the plot with a blank name?

It does work, and I have tested it with multiple animals. It's not just for one single villager. Your best bet is to just wait for NHSE to update and add a feature to put them in boxes if you can't get it working, though. I don't think I could break the steps down much more than I already have.

Is it possible to add custom images to the game via drawings or custom clothing? I see a whole bunch of neat QR Codes and .acnl files online but this editor appears to only accept .nhd files which I cannot find anywhere. Is there a way to somehow convert all the custom outfits/designs online to .nhd so we can use them in our games?

The house is there, on my legit copy, and it says "I moved out" yet house there, can send letters to him, keep showing up if I try to move the house to another spot... And it still says Raymond's. I tried to invite another villager from another legit island and it keeps saying my island is full. On the 2nd seitch(modded one) he left normally, leaving a spot someone could move to, so the problem is on my online copy. The game is updated, Nintendo claimed they fixed the moving bug, but I saw some people online saying they still got it... I think I patched it correctly, or it wouldn't have worked at all I think
