I have no idea how to open or use the animal crossing NHSE.. can someone help me out? I know how to get my save file .. but not how to open or use the program NHSE

Double click the program and drag your folder containing your save files onto it.

i downloaded the one from github but there is no .exe in there so I have no idea on how to open.. Is there another program I should be getting?

Basically what you downloaded from github is probably a whole bunch of code that hasn't been built into a program yet.

Hi!! I have a question. So i downloaded NHSE.
Backed up my save fiel with JKSV on my Switch. Tried to load the file from the JKSV folder from my Switch after plugging it in to my com but it keeps saying the folder can't be used. I'm not sure what I should be doing at this point.

To the best of my knowledge, removing audio files is only possible with romhacking (and prying the secrets of romhacking from the cold dead hands of romhackers can be really hard. Most of the time, there's like one person in the whole world who knows how to do things because they spent like their entire life researching it, a couple of people who know how to redo what that one person does and because games can do all sorts of things like not have any file names, bury their audio files in weird places like a tiny section of a bin file and the whole bin file is just every sound file imaginable things can get really impossible) and can lead to weird unintended issues. For example, the game goes looking for audio, it finds nothing and then the game freezes.

Unfortunately I don't really know much about switches. If the code is there I think it should overwrite whatever is in that slot even if there is nothing in that slot currently, if not it's probably something up with the configuration of whatever cheat manager you are using ^^;; Have heard that you're supposed to be using Edizon with Tesla overlay from places tho

If all things don't work, save file editing is usually the most reliable thing.

thanks for the reply, yea im trying to save edit right now- only thing thats working is the Golden Shovel DIY recipe that you posted earlier (only because i now know it's called "Item #5794)

If you happen to have the other golden DIY in game are you able to tell me the item #s for the save editor? Thank you very much!

after we edit the save with nhse what are the file to inject in the switch? main.dat and mainHeader.dat? or we neend to inject everything
im using hactoolnet to extract and edit files

I tried that too and Im not sure why it doesnt work. I also tried using another software called ACNH Backup Restore. Created folders with Villager0, main.dat and mainHeader.dat too but dragging/selecting the main folder with all 3 didnt work either.

What can i use for extract the animal crossing save from my switch please ? Edizon doesnt found it, i basically use Edizon for extract saves, but ther it is useless please

Just JKSV and dump the save from the Device tab

use jksv to backup restore saves,its not hard.You just choose the main folder where the folder villager is stored with main.dat and mainheader.dat

They are all the same item number, you just vary the recipe id. Like 294, 293 etc

thats the folder you choose. Basically the folder that you named when you did the backup on JKSV
