So, if you download the latest version of NHSE, it looks like you can dump your various animal villagers as a file. It would be nice if people dumped their un-altered villagers so people could download them and insert them into their games. It would help with the mismatched house layouts / exteriors and outfits tremendously. It would also be kind of hard to coordinate, but the idea is nice, lol.

Differently coloured furniture (and tools) have the same ID as the base item. Differently coloured clothes items have seperate IDs. To change the colour of a furniture item try changing the quantity of the item (on furniture/tools, the quantity determines the colour). I made a few custom codes to cycle through 1-10 items to see what colours items have.
All of these are for Slot 1 (D-Up referring to the Up direction on the D-Pad)
Code:
[Amount x1 L+D-Up]
80002040
04100000 AC3B90C4 00000000
20000000

[Amount x2 L+D-Left]
80001040
04100000 AC3B90C4 00000001
20000000

[Amount x3 L+D-Down]
80008040
04100000 AC3B90C4 00000002
20000000

[Amount x4 L+D-Right]
80004040
04100000 AC3B90C4 00000003

[Amount x5 L+D-Up]
80002040
04100000 AC3B90C4 00000004

[Amount x6 L+D-Left]
80001040
04100000 AC3B90C4 00000005
20000000

[Amount x7 L+D-Down]
80008040
04100000 AC3B90C4 00000006

[Amount x8 L+D-Right]

Trying to dump animal crossing save file with JKSV but when I dump it, nothing shows up under the animal crossing folder on my sd card. Ive tried dumping other game save files and they have worked but animal crossing is the only that doesnt work. Any fixes

You have to go to Device and dump the save of Animal Crossing from there.

The objects obtained via nook miles have different colors (one per save apparently) which cannot be modified with the workshop. for example, there are blue, black, red godzillas ect. is there a way to have the different colors in your inventory? by a cheat or something?

Here's Audie, Dom, Judy, Raymond and Sherb (all legit) if there's going to be an option to inject them

Hi !

I'm a beginner in "hack". I have a switch with a "trinket M0" given to me by a friend (not banned).

I would like to try ACNH hack but I don't know how to start.
On 3ds I used homebrew and JKSV with a save editor (https://www.marcrobledo.com/acnl-editor).
Does the game have to be at a certain level ? I know I have to use my micro sd card to extract my save but then ? What do I have to do ? Sorry for my english, I'm french.
Thank !

There's three different types of hacking.
Romhacking - You change the game itself to cheat.
Cheat codes/RAMhacking - You edit the memory of the game to cheat
Save editing - You edit the save file of the game to cheat.

In this thread, we mostly make cheat codes and save edit. For save editing, I believe people with switches mostly use JKSV in order to get their save file and then open it and edit with this program https://dev.azure.com/project-pokemon/NHSE/_build. With cheat codes, I believe people with switches just find cheat codes off this thread or other threads and use a thing called Edizon with Tesla Overlay in order to use those codes.

In case anyone is wondering what a golden shovel recipe looks like inside of a save editor. (seems like the save editor doesn't handle the recipe ids very well)
Below is what the inventory looks like

The new dump/load feature is amazing! (and means that one doesn't need to use horizoncrypt)
Thank you! do u happen to know the ones for the other golden tools? (inside the NHSE)

I doubt it. The houses seem like an absolute nightmare from hell. Because villagers are set when you first start the save (I believe) and you have to play for many hours before you get more and people have found you can edit the villagers BEFORE THEY EVEN MOVE IN and so seperating what data is actually the villager and what data is the house is most likely the absolute biggest nightmare from hell imaginable

When you think about item codes and cheats like that, things are quite simple because you can actually unequip and de-equip items whenever you feel like it, so you can identify what items and things are changing. Same goes for money. It's because those things are easy to change so you can easily identify the address or the part of the save file corresponding to it. Whereas villagers. Maybe they move out after a month? But you'll need to get multiple move outs in order to decide if what is changing is accurate!

All the golden recipes are in this post https://gbatemp.net/threads/animal-...s-bugs-etc-thread.560199/page-22#post-8982770
so these are the recipe ids
292 - Golden Net
293 - Golden Water Can
294 - Golden Shovel
295 - Golden Slingshot
296 - Golden Rod
297 - Golden Axe

By the way, Kaphotics just added easy learned recipe editing but I haven't tried it out yet.

I'm not sure if it's appropriate to ask here, but how might one go about removing or muting an audio file from the game? I have tinnitus issues so I want to remove the mole cricket noise from the game. The things are EVERYWHERE. I usually mute the game, but then I can't enjoy all other sounds in the game all because of mole crickets...

To the best of my knowledge, removing audio files is only possible with romhacking (and prying the secrets of romhacking from the cold dead hands of romhackers can be really hard. Most of the time, there's like one person in the whole world who knows how to do things because they spent like their entire life researching it, a couple of people who know how to redo what that one person does and because games can do all sorts of things like not have any file names, bury their audio files in weird places like a tiny section of a bin file and the whole bin file is just every sound file imaginable things can get really impossible) and can lead to weird unintended issues. For example, the game goes looking for audio, it finds nothing and then the game freezes.

Unfortunately I don't really know much about switches. If the code is there I think it should overwrite whatever is in that slot even if there is nothing in that slot currently, if not it's probably something up with the configuration of whatever cheat manager you are using ^^;; Have heard that you're supposed to be using Edizon with Tesla overlay from places tho

If all things don't work, save file editing is usually the most reliable thing.
