I dont have a hub and I use a mic at a time in port 1. The hdd is on port0. I have tested a disc with two mics and now im sure the hardware are ok.

The sw config by syscheck:
...runs on IOS58 (rev 6176)
System Menu 4.3E (v514)
Boot2 v4
BC v6
MIOS v10

IOS237[37] (rev 21008 Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug NAND Access USB 2.0
IOS249[56] (rev 65535 Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug NAND Access USB 2.0
IOS250[57] (rev 65535 Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug NAND Access USB 2.0
IOS251[58] (rev 65535 Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug NAND Access USB 2.0

usbloader_gx .0 r1272

Ive tried default and 237 and 251 on loading We Sing 80's, We sing rock and We sing Pop. No mic detected.

We sing 2 works with default boot.

Hello.:)

I am also struggling with the We Sing Games at the Moment.:(

PAL Wii 4.3E
USBLoader GX v3.0 r1272
Loader´s IOS58
Game´s IOS 249
IOS247[53] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug, NAND Zugriff, USB 2.0
IOS248[55] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug, NAND Zugriff, USB 2.0
IOS249[57] (rev 21, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, NAND Zugriff, USB 2.0
IOS250[56] (rev 21, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, NAND Zugriff, USB 2.0
IOS251[58] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug, NAND Zugriff, USB 2.0

First Issue actual when I have plugged the Microphone in Port 1,
USBLoader GX is hanging on the Cover loading when I boot into.
Also when I plug it in later and leave it plugged and return back to the USBLoader GX I have the same Issue.
I know for sure I never had this Issue before (I have not played the We Sing Games for about 2 Years):

P1360517.JPG

That means, plug in the Microphone when in USBLoader Games Selection Screen and unplug it when exiting the Game.

- We Sing PAL did not work with 249[57] (No Microphone) works with 250[56]
- We Sing 80´s PAL works with 249[57]
- We Sing Rock PAL works with 249[57]
- We Sing Pop PAL works with 249[57]
- We Sing 2 (Vol.2 or Encore ?) PAL did not work with 249[57] (No Microphone) works with 250[56]

Thank you.:)

58 is usually slower, but contains the official ehci module for USB2.0.
lot of games will black screen with 58 too.
I don't remember which game requires 58 (maybe games with wiispeak? I'm not even sure)

USBLoader GX is hanging on the Cover loading when I boot into.
thanks for the report. it's strange that it freezes here if port1 is in used. only with mic or other devices too?

can you confirm these :
- We Sing 80´s PAL works with 249[57]
- We Sing Rock PAL works with 249[57]
- We Sing Pop PAL works with 249[57]
don't work with 56?

CONFIRM on the PAL Wii.

If I should try it for NTSC Wii please give me a little Time.

For the Completeness:

- We Sing Robbie Williams PAL did not work with 249[57] (No Microphone) works with 250[56]
- We Sing UK PAL works with 249[57]
- We Sing Down Under (??) works with 249[57]
- We Sing Deutsche Hits PAL works with 249[57]
- We Sing Deutsche Hits 2 PAL works with 249[57]

it's strange that it freezes here if port1 is in used. only with mic or other devices too?

I will try maybe another HDD or the "Rockband 3 Guitar" again...

Thank you.:)

can you confirm We sing, Rock, Pop, Hits is NOT working with 56?
what's useful to know is not if it works with 57, but whether if it works ONLY with 57.

Alexander reported We sing 2 working with Mic. (and base 56)
Which base did you try it with?

Maybe you could try to use d2x r52 instead of r53?
r53 is needed only if you want 2 HDD at the same time, or HDD on port 1, or Plug&Play (though not sure it's working as intended, it's a beta release)

If We sing 2 doesn't work anymore, there's no certainty We sing 80 issue isn't related, so I can't get that answer as correct.
But thank you for the further tests :)

Testing phases before reporting :
1. Test a game with base 57.
2. Test a game with base 56.
If they both work -> do not report.
The wiki list is not intended to list all working base, but only games with problematic compatibility only.

If only one base worked -> report both results.

If none worked, and you find another working base -> report all 3 results.

Maybe @Adix use only Disc Games from all his "We Sing" Parts ? And has or has not the Priiloader Setting "use IOS249" on/off for it ?

if he wants to test from disc, he could also use USBLoaderGX interface to launch the game and use the different settings from it.
insert disc -> Mount -> settings or launch

I think when he said he tried from disc it's to tell us that it works fine with the default IOS, but doesn't work with cIOS/Loaders, so his accessories are working correctly.
it's only a way to check if the problem is the accessory or not (because the first user from this thread had a defective drum)

Eventually Ive managed to make all them works:
-none are ok with 249(56) rev 52/53 except We Sing 2
-249(57) rev52 detects mic on We sing Pop, Rock , Uk hits
-251(56) rev52 detects mic on We sing 80s
-250(58) rev52 detects mic on We sing 2 as well

Prii is not installed. The original disc has been used to test the mics.

Beside that, I would need an advice (on private message to keep the thread clean) for buying an usb hub (brand if any). I wanna play with two mics. Thanks.

sorry, I don't understand your report.
you said "none are working with 56 except we sing 2", and then you tell "we wing 80" works with 56 too.

by "none" you mean which games?
Could you report games this way please:
Test both, report both. if only ONE base work, then I'll add it to the wiki. if both are working, there's no need to report the game as being a problematic one, it's not.

We sing Pop, Rock , Uk hits
56: works or not?
57: works

We sing 80s
56: works
57: works or not?

We sing 2 (already reported by Alexander)
56: works
57: doesn't work

thank you for your time.
also, this is not a request. If you want to provide the info to help fill the wiki, that's fine. if you don't have time, no need to test or report half tests.
the wiki is only for problematic games. if you test non problematic games, it's useless.

We sing 80s
251(56) rev52: works . It doesnt detect mic on 249 or 250
57: dont detect mic (tested on 237,249,250,251 with rev 52,53)

We sing 2
249(56) rev52/53: works
250(58) rev52: works

These two are not working with 56? that's strange that they are different than all the other games of the series.

Hello.:)

Maybe that it explains, because Guitar Hero III and Guitar Hero Aerosmith has the same "Game Engine" and different from GH II based Games and of course GH5/Warriors of Rock/Metallica/World Tour.:)

For the Confirmation for this two Games:

Guitar Hero III Legends of Rock NTSC and Guitar Hero Aerosmith NTSC
works with
249[57]
and/or
250[56]

Thank you.:)

ah, these two games work with BOTH bases?
so, these games are NOT problematic games. that's not what the list is for, I'll remove them.
thank you alexander for confirming, and the info about the game engine. still it doesn't confirm if they are problematic games or not.

apparently, it's not clear yet.
I don't ask what base the games are working with, but what base they are NOT WORKING with.

Maybe we have a closer Look to the "Rockband" Titles.
There is this Issue with the SD Card Save and DLC Titles I think...

yeah, these are completely different in my opinion, unless it's fixed with a specific base?
I think it's more a emuNAND issue itself (like Zelda and Metroid) than base related (the base is more for the hardware detection, the cIOS for the path redirection of the data).

These games have an official SD file access?
Maybe it's conflicting with emuNAND?

I don't have any of these games to test why the DLC are not working, but are they at least working when on sysNAND, or not at all?
emuNAND redirects the path from /title/00010005/ to same path of another device. If the game doesn't get the requested file, it's a cIOS problem. all IOS have the "request file" function, since IOS9, so I don't think it's a missing function in a base.
It shouldn't affect SD access, as only NAND path is intercepted and rewritten, and cIOS emuNAND is not the same as neek where the SD is seen as internal memory and there's no more SD file system access.

Maybe these games don't use IOS to access files? that's not conventional.

PS:
I have d2x v9beta, with file access and error logging to debug it, but not the game.
all cIOS version can be recompiled with log feature if needed.

Rockband 3 has this Behavior that the SD Save Option did not work on 249/250 but on the hermes ones (222/223).
EDIT: It is the Same like described below, when no Save Game is there, the SD Card Option did not work on 249[57]

Off Topic:
What is this Issue with Save Games please ? The USBLoader GX is set to Save to SD Card/emuNAND.
I noticed if a do not have a Save Game on the Wii´s real Memory or on the emuNAND (means NO Save Game there),then this Game(s) very often stays on Black Screens.

Thank you.:)

I remember a related issue with lot of games, and that's why there is a fake savegame creation in USBGX before launching the game using emuNAND. (to create the empty savegame folder on emuNAND first)

but your report is the other way around, it requires data on either realNAND or emuNAND to work with emuNAND? realNAND savegame shouldn't be accessed by the game if you use emuNAND option.

If you do not use emuNAND Save partial or full (so the savegame is on system), does it work?
it's only a problem when using savegame redirection to emuNAND, but no savegame exists on real NAND?

note that partial should only redirect /title/ (the game data, DLC and savegames), while full also redirect other files (settings, wiimote, network, miis, message board etc.)
maybe it's related? maybe if using only partial it's missing some data?
do you have a full NAND dump and using "full" emuNAND mode for this game?

Edit:
About the SD access, you said it works with Hermes cIOS.
which base?
did you try the same base with d2x?
again, 222/223/249/250 info is completely useless without base and version of cIOS. my setup is different than yours!
In usbgx thread, there's a report about 38+37, but emuNAND not working. I'm not sure it's only with hermes, or in general (why reports are always half done? can't everyone report fully ALL the information? I'm not in your head)
is it too hard to tell "it works with A but not with B" instead of "I tested A and B doesn't work"? should I consider both doesn't work, or only B?
Aren't you all used to make reports by now? it's been years I ask for properly reported information, you should remember what's useful or not. Why do I have to ask for MORE precisions on ALL your reports?

by now, Alex, don't you remember that SLOT NUMBER IS COMPLETELY USELESS INFO? how many times I said that to you? 2.5 years I guess.

Yes,that works.

it's only a problem when using savegame redirection to emuNAND, but no savegame exists on real NAND?
Yes.

Games for the List - the newer Just Dance Games (2014 - 2020) also needs REAL Save Games on the Wii´s Memory.
The emuNAND Saves (you can make one on the First Start) gets corrupted after every Re-Start.:(
Unfortunately no really Confirmation (I think the Users mostly apply to the real Saves)

Thank you.:)
