No problem. Asking questions helps me identify bugs and areas where the app isn't as intuitive as it should be. You problem is that Emuiibo is loaded and gold leaf detects it but Amiigo doesn't detect it? Or am I misunderstanding? That's strange because I use the exact same code as gold leafe for interacting with Emuiibo. What colour is the status rectangle at the bottom of the screen? Is it red or purple? If it's purple that means it can't find Emuiibo (I've messed up the code somewhere or you haven't installed it which you said you have) or if it's red that means it's loaded it's just not enabled (you can enable it by tapping the rectangle or pressing X).
What firmware and Atmosphere are you using? This sounds like a problem with Emuiibo so you should probably ask @XorTroll but I'll help the best I can. I'd try making sure you're on the latest atmosphere version first and if you're already on the latest try updating to the latest firmware that atmosphere supports if you aren't already on it.
Oh I didn't know. Thanks for telling me. Yeah I think you'll just have to wait for XorTroll to update it. I'd do it for you but I don't know if it will be as simple as just recompiling and I have no way to test it.So I have installed both Emuiibo and Amiigo but apparently Emuiibo is not updated to run with the latest console update so neither work.. Am I missing something or do I just have to wait for Emuiibo to update? Really wanna emulate some Amiibo cards for ACNH
I didn't know it was taken before I released it but even if I had known for simple names like this the law is a bit murky but it's generally accepted that as long as the products aren't competing in the same market then it's fine. You could start a coffee shop called Java and Oracle wouldn't be able to do anything because no one would realistically confuse the software with a cafe. The same could be said about @WerWolv 's Tesla overlay and Tesla the electric car company.

You can install Amiigo the same way you install any other homebrew app, just put the NRO file in the switch folder on the sd card. You also need Emuiibo. I'm not sure what the SXOS folder structure is but you can install it the same way you install any other sysmodule like freebird or sysftp.
This app is unrelated to Amiiswap but sure. First I'd make sure that you're on a version of Amiiswap that is compatible with the latest version of Emuiibo. I don't think the latest official version is but @mrdude has a fork that is. If that doesn't work I'd make sure that you actually have Emuiibo downloaded and that it is up to date.
When i load amiiswap and select amiibo i then select Animal Crossing but the game does not load
Do you have Emuiibo though? You need Amiiswap AND Emuiibo to be able to emulate Amiibos.
