Try creating a mobile access point from your phone

Not sure about that but I know some wifi things can trick the connected devices that they are connected to the internet because it will only be used for local communication so it should be possible
Does it not work if you just say No to the connection test in settings and try using 3DScontroller anyway?

Hello idk if someone could help me. I'm trying this on my Mac, using "wineskin", everything's fine I get the "3DS Connected" message (by this point I can move the cursor with my 3DS touchscreen), but when I click outside the command window (with my mouse) it stops working I can no longer move the cursor with my touchscreen. When I click again in the command windows (with my mouse) I can move the cursor again with my touchscreen. It seems like it only works when I'm on the command windows, anyone else's having this problem? is it because I'm doing it with "wineskin" on a Mac?

Thanks for your help!

Was thinking of somethink more like Custom buttons displayed on the Touch Screen. What abou a virtual analog stick? Or buttons to represent the triggers of the analogs? There are many possibilities with the Touch Screen that can make the 3DS Controller much more convenient to use. There are just so few buttons on the 3DS for it to be nearly enough.

I want to play pes 13 of two players but when I try it the two 3ds share the same command as such, I want to know how to use them separately (I don't know if I explain it well, I speak Spanish

You want to use two 3DSs as separate game controllers, but they are acting like one controller?
¿Quiere usar dos 3DSs como dos mandos de videojuegos, pero estan funcionando como un mando?

(Does anyone know how to pluralize 3DS? Also, yes, that's the same sentence in both languages, except the Spanish one is probably slightly off because I did it mostly from memory.)

Yes, that's what I mean because I want to play competitive games with a family member, so I want to be able to play with two players without having to share the same controller as it happens to me

I'm not sure whether or not vJoy has that option. Run two different instances of 3DSController with different IP addresses and/or ports. You might have to put the .exe files in different directories, so that each uses the correct .ini

Remember that each 3DS needs to match with the settings of one of the instances of 3DSController.

It is a really interesting app, I am downloading it to test it, if in the future you can do screen streaming from the PC to the 3DS it will be an impressive achievement.

i think i heard of that, it's a good idea, shouldn't need a dedicated GPU just to run a LLM or video upscaling
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
even the nvidia shield tv has AI video upscaling

LLMs can be run on cpu anyway but it's quite slow

I had a girlfriend who had a twin sister and they would mess with me constantly.... Until one chipped a tooth then finally I could tell them apart.... Lol

They would have the same hair style the same clothes everything... Really messed with my head lol

@The Real Jdbye, I could see AMD trying to pull off the CPU GPU tandem thing, would be a way to maybe close the gap a bit with Nvidia. Plus it would kinda put Nvidia at a future disadvantage since Nvidia can't make X86/64 CPUs? Intel and AMD licensing issues... I wonder how much that has held back innovation.
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
i don't think nvidia wants to get in the x64 cpu market anyways
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
you've seen how much intel is struggling getting into the gpu market

and nvidia is already doing ARM

i don't think they want to take more focus away from their gpus

Yeah I think Nvidia s future lays in AI GPU acceleration stuff if they can get that going it's going to be super interesting in the long term

AI assisted game creation might become a thing

  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
@Psionic Roshambo AI assisted game creation is kinda already here, there was recently that AI that can turn any 2D image into a fully modeled 3D object, it's not perfect, but it's a starting point, beats starting from zero
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
before that there was one to generate a fully modeled scene from a 2D image
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
but most recently, there was one that actually generates a working unity scene with terrain and textures already set up that you can import right into unity, that's a huge time saver right there
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
and using LLMs to generate NPC dialogue and even dynamically generated quests is something i'm sure is already happening
  • The Real Jdbye @ The Real Jdbye:
will just take some time for games made using those things to be completed and released
