Hello everyone,

I installed recently lakka on my switch to play retroarch emulators which I heard runs very well.
But it seems all the games I tried to play was very slow or emulators didn't work.

I tried NDS but it was really slow. I couldn't use also MelonDS core, it seems to crash everytime I tried to use it.

Also I wanted to try it especially for Sega Saturn emulation which I saw runs very well on internet. But I couldn't lunch the game with yabba sanshiro emulators. I tried different file format, but each time it didn't boot or it was not even recognized by the core actually.

Can someone help me to make run better the Saturn games on Switch ? Thank you.

You'd probably have much better luck dual/triple booting your switch , but using android on your switch for emulation.
The emulators for them work quite well and I never have a problem with nds games (I don't really on normal switch though)

Oh my god guys, I just tried Android on my switch and emators run so well. It's so impressive.

Though I have two problems.
With Yaba Sanshiro, my Joy Con are detected but as two different controlers. How can I make detect them as onle one controller so that it works ?

Also with Dolphin, my right joycon seems to be connected but sometimes work and most of the time don't work though. Is there something to do so that it works well ?

Finally, when I use Android I can put my switch in sleep mode, but if I understood well, it still works as if it wasn't in sleep mode right ?

About Dolphin , I'm running it with moonlight from my computer. With Yaba Sanshiro , I'm running it with Android hardware directly.

in my case i use a pro controller which works great. You should also be able to use a ps4 or ps3 controller. I never tried joy cons. You may have to wait till the next android release to get those working properly not sure. Yaba is also a core in retroarch but i found it did not work to mt liking. I prefer the premium stand alone app much more.

Thank you for your reply. I don't have a pro controler at the moment and wish if I could play with my joycon. I will try another emulator or asking people about this. Thank you in any case !

When considering to setup a multiboot switch is there a difference in performance between partition based and file based lakka?

With all the information that I've gathered so far there has not been any horizon emulators worth having since lakka/android and linux? provide the best performance
