MaxConsole Posts photos of the new TX Switch modchip

Someone spilled the beans earlier today, and took photos of their Switch console with the new TX Switch Modchip installed!

Pictures they say are worth more than 1000 words, and in this case earlier today MaxConsole posted 3 of them, showcasing what appears to be the new TX Switch ModChip installed on console. :)
From what he agreed to tell us, they are still improving the product on both Mariko and Patched Switch so first shipment will only be after Chinese New Year. Unfortunately a good month away (or more). For information, he added the product also work on unpatched console, so basically all classic models function with this product. Still the product is coming, getting closer, and a separate product for Switch Lite is also underway. I guess we will have to be a bit more patient for more info.

The pictures are only showing part of the installation because he was concerned to be identified by board numbers or such. But he promised he will send us more info in the weeks to come. So probably the next 4 weeks until CNY is over and that we can hopefully also receive our own final review samples!

Three of the same console. Do you really like the Swtich THAT much? Seems like a waste of $ imo.
getting modded consoles is always worth it when they are "rare" (get patched in new units etc.)
selling JTAG and later RGH 360's back in the day helped me pay for college, pirates pay big money its.just for hardware not intangibles like software

I have leaked information regarding this modchip. You will mount it to the onboard storage of the Nintendo Switch as a replacement, not an addition. The onboard storage will act normally besides being patched to run pre-loaded games in an account that already has all (at the time, anyway) licenses for the games available on the system at launch date. It's similar to the HDD cloning "hacks" that allowed pirated games on other systems. Also, everyone who buys this is a thief and will get butt raped in prison.
If the person sharing images intentionally limited what was shown due to the serial codes and exposing himself.

You claim to be this person who now comes on here posting. Kind of defeats the point of been secretive.

How does your "information" explain that they can run the menu to select the game?

Either you are lying, or the person who wrote it is.

I'm an FBI mole that has infiltrated the TX team. I am just trying to protect all of you from the severe asshole infiltration by an AIDS infected nignog in prison. Not my fault you won't listen.

Do you actually expect someone to believe you?

It might already be patched on the new hardware, even if TX managed to buy some that are unpatched to develop it on.

That is all part of the game.
Pretty sure it’s not patched in the new hardware seeing as, oh I don’t know... TX showed a lite unit running sx os last week

As a person with a wife and kid I see it as money well spent :-) But to be honest its not as much as you think if you watch ebay and just pickup a used main unit and some of the china made pro controllers.

I have 5 switches 3 big ones and 2 lites...

The pokemon switch lite I use mainly for my.OFW stuff and the other one was a free one because Target screwed up my order (that's still sealed in the box its going to he worth alot of money one day) I do own like 8 switch games that I play online.

One of the big switches I use for emunand/ system nand combo and the other 2 are reserved in the box but i mainly play my light. I didnt plan on owning the other 3 switches but then again I do have a Xbox and Ps4 smh

I'm 99% sure it's a solder mod, there's a possibility that it pretends to be something else, and instead is ribbon cable, I'm not familiar with the interior and placement of the switch boards, so I can't say for sure
Nope, leaked pictures show the solderless version

Technically the unpatched units doesn't need this because they have fusée gelée.
Yea, but aren't there some weird limitation, or a chance they will lose access to future firmwares? I could well be wrong about this. Like if I go buy a switch today, what would be the prop\s/cons vs an unpatched unit?

The firmware doesn't matter for units with f-g. They will be ever hackable or can use every firmware. If it's that is what you mean.

I mean TX did say a long time ago that they were releasing a solder-less and solder version of their little exploit. Maybe this is the solder one that, for whatever reason, hasn't seen the light of day until now?
