Hi usineur0, first : Thanks a lot for this great port !!

I discover a bug in the cave, near worms in wall.
When you must transform tree in seed, game crash everytime your green power flash the tree.

Which platform: Vita or Switch ? Can you also provide a screenshot of the screen ?

Why bother with this one ? You can grab PSx version and run it through PCSX-Rearmed using retroarch and it works great and even better than this one with title screen and everything. Just saying.

The original game is really sluggish both in Playstation and PC. Filtering is horrendous and it has a weird aspect ratio in both platforms.

This version is much MUCH smoother (since you can tweak the animations speed), clean, it has better controls and proper 4:3 aspect ratio. Its better than the original game in every single way except, you know, the glitches and the main menu.

Like what ? I don't see any problem on PSX emulator. I don't noticed it.

Like what ... what?

Again: Sluggish gameplay, worse controls, bad filtering, awful aspect ratio..

If you are comparing the PSX version with the PSX version of course you wont notice any difference, lol.

Trust me, the Gregory source port is a BIG improvement.

I play on Switch.
The level name is "Le Lac magique" in french.
The place is a sort of tree with one carnivous plant on left and shadows trolls on top, below a rolling rock animation.

Can't upload image or hyperlink yet, because of my recent registration here.
I will send you that soon.

I see exactly where it is... I just tried, no problem for me. Could you try with this savestate ? Just replace it in /switch/hode

Also, can you confirm that you are using 0.2.4 version ?

Tried your savestate, no more issue. I'm on 0.2.4.
Thanks a lot for this quick answer and fix!

Thanks for doing this, but I'd really like to know exactly which files from the PC version is required to run this. This post
here names a few of the files, but that's far from all the files in the pc version. The release page simply says to "Copy into it all datafiles (see README.txt)", but I don't see a README ANYWHERE?

Also, it would be nice if you would update OP with the newest version. I downloaded this yesterday and just realized that I have the initial release version:/

Sorry for the double post, but I've had some time to test this now and I am wondering; Both Cutscenes and death animations seem to be missing from my game. Are these not implemented yet or am I having some sort of bug?

It's quite awkward playing without the death animations and the cutscenes are a big part of the game. I've played around with the ini file and animations seems to be enabled, or rather, not disabled atleast.

It works like a charm for me on Switch or Vita.

Be sure that in hode.ini you have this:
Code:
disable_paf=false

edit: Also be sure to have the hod.paf file. It contains all the animation sequences.

I haven't touched that part of the ini file and it looks as it should:

Screen of Hode ini.png

I see that my hod.paf file is in capital letters. Could this be the problem?

EDIT: So changing HOD.PAF to hod.paf didn't change anything. Damnit I am tired. Nothing I am doing today seems to work:wacko:

I am running this on FW 8.1.0 with Atmosphere 0.10.2. Anything wrong here?
