That would be amazing to be able to save the shiny to the den! Please make this a thing
When generating Pokemon, the games basically do something like this:
Code:
if (pidType == NON_SHINY) {
  // force non-shiny pid
} elseif (pidType == SHINY) {
  // force shiny pid
} elseif (pidType == REGULAR) {
  // generate pid using re-rolls (from shiny charm and masuda method)
}

The cheats remove the first two checks, which also makes the third useless, so it always falls into the 'force shiny pid' section.

Said differently, the cheats modify how the game chooses to generate a pid, but they don't create a shiny seed.

However it is possible for someone to make a different cheat which generates and saves an actual shiny seed.

Hey everyone, I'm having some difficulty using the "Hold ZR for instant Kill" code - perhaps the issue is when I'm supposed to hold ZR? It seems that it sometimes works and sometimes doesn't. Often, I find I hold it when my pokemon is beginning their attack animation but the opponent's HP takes the hit as normal - not an instant kill. After this, I let go of ZR. Following this however, the opponent could use a very weak attack on me and it instantly KOs my pokemon from full health. This implies the code is working but...for some reason, it's not working when I need it to work. Other times, I hold ZR immediately when selecting my move and it appears to work 50% of the time. The problem with this is, when the opponent's speed is higher than mine, it instantly KOs me first. Not sure how to handle this..

I generated some breeding ditto that should be legal according to PkHex. If there's somebody on here with two Switches (or a hacked one they can use online) that can transfer to a vanilla one and then trade me these 4 Ditto I'd really appreciate it as well.

I used a Charmander from the living dex PK8s as a base so it has legit trainer data.

the code instant KO works on both your pokemon and your enemies pokemon,has been talked about in the forum before
I don't think you read my full message - I never said that was the issue. I'm fully aware it works on both yours and your opponent's pokemon. The goal is to know when to hold it to have it work when my pokemon attack as sometimes, despite holding ZR, nothing happens (or the opponent KOs me when I've let go of it).

Reboot your payload. Editing the system file while using ftp will not change anything until a reboot. Its the most overlooked step dealing with disabling cheats b/c its not mentioned in the guides.
Payload had been rebooted multiple times.
The system ini file I referenced is located in the new templates folder. When I tried copying the lines relevant to cheats, (set to be disabled by default of course), to a properly named ini file in the main config folder, it made atmosphere crash on boot. I tried adjusting the lines of code, but only removing the new ini file I created solved the crashing.

Does anybody have a Perfect IV code for wild Pokémon encounters that does not need a hold button activation? Basically, I just want to know if there is a code that makes all wild encounters 6 IV? I only ask because I was having issues with the code where you activate using R button. Sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn't. It was somewhat frustrating.

THANKS

Would you care to specify....what folders need my attention for the fix.

  1. Rename "titles" folder to "contents" and copy the files inside the "contents" folder from the Atmosphere update inside it. The devs said it would autorename but I ran into trouble with this, so I renamed it manually.
  2. Move your old "system_settings.ini" file from the root of your SD card to the "config" folder. You could also copy and paste the file from "config_templates" and then edit to have options like cheats disabled from launch (important if you don't want to crash your game).
  3. If you're using Hekate + Atmosphere, remember to update Hekate too. Just drag and drop the most recent release to the root of your SD.
And that's pretty much it. I don't remember doing anything else. Hope it helps you. I didn't have to update Edizon to have cheats working, but later on I updated to the nightly version.

So I'm wondering something, Austin John mentioned something about figuring out how to shiny hunt the dens easier with a hackable switch. Said you can figure out how many days to progress to get a shiny? I guess kind of like the Gen5 RNG kind of thing? I'm more than a little confused how that would work... Anyone able to help explain what to do?

So when I saw him say that in the video I was under the assumption that this forum has a cheat code that allows you to simply hold down the R button I believe it is before entering the den and it will guarantee a shiny pokemon. The code also works for pokemon in the wild area and all of the routes.

From what I assumed instead is you need to like get your SID/PID all that stuff, to compute how many days for a shiny to appear. Given that I didn't even check what post Austin was talking about, I might be completely wrong.

can you tell me how to turn this code off?thx
Code:
[6IV Raids]
04000000 0076FDD4 528000CD

Kinda.

Just about all RNG employed while generating new pokemon in Sword and Shield has been reverse-engineered, but they all employ non-exploitable cryptography-grade RNG supplied by the console itself, except for a single situation: re-rolling the contents of a single raid (which is to say, looking at the pokemon and advancing the date without starting the battle).

With CFW, you can extract the save and use a PkHex plugin ( https://github.com/Leanny/PKHeX_Raid_Plugin ) to see how many times you will need to re-roll a raid before a shiny will appear, making for an easier process; you still need to manually re-roll the raid the specified number of times, though. Or you can fight the current raid pokemon and throw a new wishing piece to get a completely new seed if the current one will require too many re-rolls before spawning a shiny.

The thread Austin showed in the video was about extracting the saves from a vulnerable, but not currently hacked, console without leaving any trace or indication that this happened, BTW; nothing to do with the exploit itself.

    @Maximumbeans, Indeed. I've been working on getting this Infecutus chip to work on my PS2. But after soldering, I realised that a plastic piece was missing from the power ribbon cable to the power and eject buttons.
  • SylverReZ @ SylverReZ:
    Now I could go with soldering the contacts from the cable to the connector on the mobo, but doesn't sound like a good permanent solution.

    @Maximumbeans, Maybe start practice soldering. Get a cheap-ass soldering iron and follow some good YouTube tutorials.
