Hacking Games asking for updates I already installed

Hi all

I am new in the homebrew department. I have my switch modded with trinket mod chip 3 days ago. CFW is atmosphere latest version.
I successfully installed some games (xci) and did some updates on some games (nsp). 2 games won't play and keep asking updates I did install. Donkey Kong Country Tropical Freeze and Super Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. I had those games installed prior to the mod but I deleted them. What goes wrong? I tried tinfoil and gold leaf but the games keep sayi g there is an update.

My system is up to date I think. Newer games installed just fine

Those 2 games have each 1 update and i got them. I don't know if there are more recent updates. Is there a way to check if there are more updates?

When your game was previously installed they were probably up to date. When you reinstalled them now they are not. If you are able to update them to the latest through an nsp update you should be good to go.

That's the problem.... I did update with nsp file..... No luck

So Mario Kart 8 version is 1.7.1 (v589824)?

are you sure the update files you have downloaded are for the same version of the game you already have installed.

Okay.... I thought it was not necessary because all other games run fine even uodated
