Okay everyone, so I just tried to Install BootMii as boot2 and then I also tried "Prepare a SD Card", but BOTH OPTIONS FAILED, with error (-1).

So then I just tried "Install HBC"... this option had Success.

What do I do now that I have the Homebrew Channel installed? Or is that it? lol

Make a folder on your SD card called "apps" if it isn't already there. Then, this page will guide you through installing Priiloader :)

Yeah but my issue here is... I cannot install BootMii. Either as boot2 or as IOS....

I said that earlier but I guess everyone missed that xD

For some reason in the HackMii installer v1.2
I go into the BootMii menu, and select Prepare a SD Card, and it then says "Failed (-1)".
Then I go to Install Bootmi as boot2, and it gives the same error.
Same thing when I select Install BootMii as IOS... same error...

Hello,

Your SD card is not blocked in writing (the small lock on the side of the SD) ??

How is formatting (fat, fat32, exfat) your SD card ??

You may only be able to install it in IOS bootmii.

OMG THAT WAS IT! I forgot this SD Card even had a lock on it, I have SO MANY SD Cards lol.

I just got BootMii installed as boot2.

I guess I am in the lucky few with an old Wii.

Can you tell me how to make a NAND Backup now, before I start doing anything else? What are the controls in the BootMii Menu?

P.S - Nevermind, I figured the BootMii menu out. I only have a 4 GB SD Card in my Wii right now, but it's making a NAND Backup. I really hope 4GB is enough for a NAND Backup...

What does a bad block mean while im backing up my NAND to my SD Card? So far all the blocks are green except for 2... there are 2 black (or BAD) blocks...

Last edited by BLCKBLuR,
now there are 3 bad blocks shown in the backup process, and it's verifying the backup now.

Not to worry. That is normal. And NO,you can not fix it.:)
