I'm confused at this part? so im opening the back up save file folder and edit the main file and back up file as the same and hit save?

Everytime i hit save for the PKHEX file it keeps reverting the changes i made when i reopen it back up?


Step 6.Once your done editing your .pkm file go back and click file export PKM and put the new main/backup into the backup folder you were using for editing originally
Step 6.1 MAKE SURE BOTH MAIN AND BACKUP FILES ARE EDITED TO BE THE EXACT SAME, I HIGHLY SUGGEST IF YOU ADD ANY POKEMON TO SAVE THEIR .PK8 files to a safe location so you can just open them up in main/backup file

I'm getting an error parsing the cheats file for this game!
Please check the format of the file and make sure it's correct.

I downloaded the file thats on first page and followed instructions to change tilte id and build number for shield.
I have the file under sxos/titles

What are you guys using to backup the save? Checkpoint isn't working for me.

JKSV is really reliable too ever since the 3DS days. Just gotta make sure whatever you use is up to date and if you use ftp dont transfer anything while the connectivity is asleep. That alone causes file corruption.

Get a complete save with all pkmn on hacked switch/ On clean Lite switch keep breeding eggs "while trying to get a legit shiny I guess" then just trade away the trash pkmn via local between your 2 switch.
Can't exactly transfer a save file without crossing the ban risk bridge since the hacked switch would need access to Nintendo's Online service for the transfer process. And the Lite can't be hacked anyway for save injection.
