The Shiny when pressing R is a "always shiny" as long as you press R before rofl.
I'm also interested in how to remove the "hold R" thing and make it a toggle/always.

This will give you "Square" shinies 100% of the time. I have no idea about the "Star" shinies.

PS. If you watch the video you'll see the stars vs squares shiny animation. The stars is 1 in 4096 at full odds and the squares is 1 in 65536 at full odds, making them ultra/super shiny...according to the video. He mentions that they are not sure if this is a bug or not but there is a difference in animation and the formula is (TrainerID xor SecretID) xor (PersonalityValue31..16 xor PersonalityValue15..0). A Pokémon is shiny if this formula equals 16 or lower, so if the assumption is correct then these new shinies are simply 1/16 the rarity of regular shinies. 4096x16=65536.

It gives the error because the legality checker is not 100% yet. There is nothing to fix. You have to wait for a pkhex update.

The files are all working online which means they pass the official hack checks gamefreak has set.

I'm not sure what you are doing, but go to the encounters database and pull it from there.

You can use PKHex.

split the code, it will probably consist of 4 lines

first line will be your off code

then you have a line starting 80000, this is your activator, delete it

next line will look similar to first line but different value, this will be your on code

then you have a line starting 2000 this is a terminator code so delete.

so line one is your off cheat, line three is your on cheat.
