Hi. I'm not sure what I changed but after updating my cIOS and USB Loader GX to the latest version my games stopped working, I have my dumps stored in an external HDD (not an USB Key) and they used to work as normal (the directory format is correct and such, they're detected).

I'm getting a black screen for 20-30s then I get booted to the Homebrew Channel

This is my system report:

Hello.:)

Thank you for your sysCheck, that was very providently.:yay:
It looks good.

Your HDD is formatted with FAT32 ?

For your USBLoader GX issue:

When you say latest Version you have v3.0 r1272 ?
Please try:

1.You can change the Bases with the d2x cIOS Installer from

IOS249[56] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS250[57] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0

to

IOS249[57] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS250[56] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0

2.You can try to change the Revision with the d2x cIOS Installer from

IOS249[56] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS250[57] (rev 65535, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0

to

IOS249[57] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS250[56] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v10beta52): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0

3.If you leave the Bases and/or Revisions unchanged, you can try to set:

USBLoader GX Global Settings - Loader Settings - Game´s IOS to IOS 250
or set it manually for each Game to 250

Good Luck.
Thank you.:)

My HDD is FAT32 with 32kb cluster size, and it was working before this broke (games are detected properly, Nintendont works for instance), I have USB Loader GX v3.0 r1272, correct.

I'm going to try all of those 3 scenarios you described and report back.

Thank you!

--------------------- MERGED ---------------------------

I tried 3 first, didn't work, then tried 1 and 2, but neither did anything different, I'm still getting the same thing (black screen for a few seconds, green flash and rebooted to homebrew launcher). Any other ideas?

Please try these:

Check in USBLoader GX -> Settings - Global Settings - Loader Settings - Loader´s IOS -> IOS 58

You can also try these cIOSes:

IOS249[57] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0
IOS250[56] (rev 21008, Info: d2x-v8final): Trucha Bug, NAND Access, USB 2.0

And please change for the Game itself the Settings --> Game IOS 249 or 250.
(Game - > Settings - Game Load)

Good luck.:)

I can't seem to find v8final in d2x cIOS Installer :/

USBLoader was already set to IOS 58 so that didn't seem to do much.

Tried Mario Galaxy in both 249 and 250 to no avail.

I've tried almost everything that had been said in previous threads, that's why I'm opening a new one, I don't really know what else to try, it's a bit frustrating :(

That is understandable.:(

Did you use Verson 3.1 ? You need Internet Connection on your Wii for this.
Or you can use ModMii - on Download Page 4 and a WAD Manager like Multi Mod Manager or WiiMod Lite for install the cIOSes.

Other Solution.

You can try WiiFlow v5.2.0 and try your Games to see if they work.

Thank you.:)

I am using version 3.1, her are the choices I get:
d2x v4
d2x v5
d2x v6
v10 beta53 d2x-v10-beta53-alt
v10 beta52 d2x-v10-beta52

And for the last one I get the following revisions:
21010
21
65535

Before opening this thread I tried WiiFlow Lite 5.2.0 from https://github.com/Fledge68/WiiFlow_Lite/releases

With WiiFlow it loads for a while with the WiiFlow logo before booting me to PriiLoader (not hb channel)

Very Strange...:(

Then please:
Use ModMii
- cIOSes on Download Page 4
- a WAD Manager like Multi Mod Manager or WiiMod Lite for install the cIOSes on Download Page 2

You have to use ModMii Version not the ModMiiSkin Version to get to these Pages.

Thank you.:)

Green flash? That sounds like you are trying to launch a game using neek2o.
What type of games are you trying to play? Wii? Emunand games?
