Yes you need to get +1 of whatever item to get max from what i can tell

Looks like it works for any method of acquiring the item as well. If you buy a handful of Pokeballs from the first mart you get a free Premier Ball and that got maxed as well.

Ok, I have tested all proposed cheats. The EXP cheats do NOT work at all, the "Hold ZR" is instakill (which works), same with the Maximum Items after obtaining and so on.

Btw, does someone know of a way to disable cheats in Edizon so that they are not enabled by default? I really don't like that.

This is pretty critical. Making the animation speed faster and movement speed faster is they only way to make these games tolerable. Most are used to emulators with fast forward and can not tolerate games wasting their time. Thankfully most pokemon games have some version of this.

Open the/atmosphere/system_settings.inifile and change dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x1 to dmnt_cheats_enabled_by_default = u8!0x0.

from what I've read you need to have a item and then whilst having the code on get that same item,which in return will max it out?

Doesn't seem to do that, the Key Items I have obtained so far have not been increased beyond their initial value, but if it happens with the next Key Item I pickup, I cannot tell.

okay someone brought this to my attention, once PKHex gets updated we will need people to make legit copies of each pokemon and send them in,we will put the .pkm files into a folder and add it to the OP

I think this is a great idea!

I have a clean, untouched Pokeball Plus Mew and Route 24 Charmander from LGPE I can contribute once we know if they will work with Sword and Shield.

Max items doesnt work for me.

For max item to work, you need +1 of that item,
example go buy x1 of any item, once it hits you bag it becomes x999
so same with picking up a NEW x1 item

bad part, i noticed it replaced my 1st TOP item to x999 potion, it got rid of my super potion when it was on top. I repeated this two times so it does replace any item at TOP spot to x999 potion.
