Ah okay, that could be it.. I heard exfat works better for file based. I wanted to stick with fat32 as I had heard of corruption issues with exfat

Yeah that can happen but i have been using that particular SD since like the start of CFW and still no corruptions, maybe in the future it will happen but it's been that long already and still none whatsoever.

Yeah some people haven't had any issues, probably depends on the manufacturer of the card.. Well I've never had any corruption issues with any card but I just wanted to play it safe :D

I doubt it. At least in my case and many others regarding various comments in YouTube followed videos about how to do emuMMC on new Atmosphere.

By the way it looks like that it works, but on the same partition, because NSP files I installed into my Switch are stored in that emuMMC folder in my bigger partition.

So second partition is waste of time, but it's not possible to create emuMMC if have only one partition.

I hope that this is actually a bug for only some of us and will be fixed in a future, because now I am wasting 32GB of my card space.
Opp, I have the same situation as yours. Two partitions, second one 32G is empty but boot to emuMMC just fine.

I am using a 256gb card and I think I'm missing some 50gb, where did they go?

I made the first partation 78gb fat32 for homebrew so I can fit some big files, then left 160 for hetcat to build my system and sd card with . But looking in the data management, I have a prolly 32gb (shows 20gb availabe with a few things installed) and a 77gb sd card. Where didi some 50 gb go? sorry for typos, computer lagging...

Maybe I should make my own post...

Hi, I just left this how it is. If I will really need that space I will format everything and start using without emmumc.
Looks like that only some people have this issue, so tech ppl ignored the issue or even deny as you can see from previous posts. From time to time I follow news, but all I can find that one or another person faces this, but I never hear a solution.
You could try with new post, if you get any luck, could you please let me know? :)
