This is true, there is no "best" when comparing, however, when I say best I mean in a person's eyesSurely there is no "best" as such, They all depend on what you want from the Switch... I use SXOS and have done since day 1. It just works for me.
Lakka is great. I didn't add it because it doesn't play switch gamesLakka for me
Hasn’t been so farThis thread won't be a "debate", it will be a fanboy war.
if by best you mean the one that does the most is SX OS
if by best you mean the most simple one is SX OS by FAR (one f'n file and that's it. not sig patches, no sept, no this no that, it works)
objectively speaking, sxos is the best, hands down.
Now, if we get into pricing, or 'ethics' behind the team, that's a whole other discussion.
Is funny, a lot of people say "unless blah then its atmosphere" and clearly by votes they vote atmosphere, but if there's an unless and that unless is FUNCTIONALITY (not pricing) then i think you are doing 'best' wrong.
I have sxos on one switch, atmos on the other.
Reinx definitely has the potential to become great, It just needs timeAs you can see some people shitting on reinx again: For what purpose do you do that?
Discrediting Reinx has the potential to frustrate the creator to the point, that they simply stop working on it at all. The only thing this achieves is to rob you off one potential cfw you could use. Competition and choice is good for the end user. It keeps competition between cfw creators alive and motiviates them to continue.
It's especially puzzling that you certainly have users who use Atmosphere to play pirated games (duh!). As Reinx includes sig patches by default and has no anti piracy stance, you would think that those people would be a little more keen to keep it around.
Incidentally this is true for all kind of homebrew software. This whole attitude will drive off existing developers and keep new ones from joining the community. To the detriment of everyone involved.
@Topic
I currently use Atmosphere. It fulfils my needs so far and has convience features for AutoRCM.
