I think it should since I just got word that AMS 0.9.4 boots fw 9.0.1 just fine. Thank you though, and it's just a minor bug fix.

Have tried OFW 9.0 and SXOS 2.9.1 with ORI+update multixci and runs OK

I doubt it, because lots of games have been released without the latest update. Especially with less than a month to go. They are probably already being produced and packaged in the factory, or already being prepped for shipment to retailers. Sure, the first update you download will nag for the latest version. But retail copies are probably safe.

We can't say that everything works though.. I would still be cautious if you are coming from SX OS 2.8 or firmware lower than 9.0.0, there were many reported bugs with SX OS 2.9 that may still be present in this version.

don't forget that about 90 of those pages were from toxic atmosphere users..

atmosphere has also had it's share of bugs on first release (then patched soon after), I wonder how the atmos crowd would feel if a heap of SX OS users posted messages in there hassling them for their choice of CFW?

it would be the same than in the sxos posts, it would solve that the toxic users were blocked by gary, they wont be able to see it unless they use alts

Exactly. Especially when atmosphere will re-release as the same update number even though it’s technically a new release with bug fixes.

Only Dragon Quest 11 DLC and some updates require FW 9.0 right now, I'm sure there will be compulsory 9.0 games in the near future. FW 9.0 added stylus support and Nintendo started selling stylus recently. But until then, I'll stay at 8.1.
